Waiting. Bought 11/18. B/O til 12/13. Upon arrival of new fridge, it DID NOT work. Watched the temp climb several degrees. Started at 60 degrees, left it on overnight & by morning it was over 70 degrees inside. The outside temperature of the fridge was alot cooler than the inside. Delivery ppl damaged water line & had to call a plumber. New fridge won't arrive til after 01/20. One of Electrolux's solutions was sending out a service tech to repair fridge. WHY would I want to repair a BRAND NEW fridge? HD was great in trying to get us a loaner for us while the unit was on back order except the loaner received is a 9 cu ft fridge vs having had a unit that was 27 cu ft. For a family of 4, 9 cu ft is too small. Hoping the new fridge we receive will actually work. Electrolux DID NOT plan for this sale of their fridge. Til then, I can't give this fridge a positive review.

As you can guess from the rating, my experience has been less then positive with this fridge, but to save you the drama, here is the short list of relevant reasons:
The installation guys hooked the water line up to a hot-water pipe instead of a cold water pipe via a saddle valve. Who'd have thought, a fridge doesn't really make ice when you're running hot water through it. We were able to get a repair tech out under warranty and they figured out that was the issue, but they would not fix it for us without charging us minimally $120. Lucky for us he was nice enough to explain what kind of fittings we needed to fix out ourselves. Home Depot did not step up and offer any assistance pointing the finger at the installation company they contracted with to deliver and install the fridge. The installation people said we agreed to their installation by signing off that they delivered the fridge. So, a trip to the hardware store to buy a valve and we were able to resolve the problem on our own. But it was a frustrating game of fingering pointing and extra money we didn't plan to spend to fix the issue.
Once the water line issue was resolved, we did start to get ice, but we then realized we were not getting chilled water out of the fridge.
Another call to frigidaire and we learned that this fridge does not in any way cool the water. It passes from the tubing, through the filter and then out the fridge, but it is no way designed to actually put out cold water. The lack of this feature was not disclosed by home depot. Rather they assured us it was the same as any fridge; you had cold water, ice and crushed ice. Low and behold you have "cold" water because it's hooked up to the cold water pipe, not because the fridge cools it. So, if that's a feature you want, you'll need to look elsewhere...
For us, not a deal breaker, you can always use ice, but another frustration because we were told it put out cold water by the home depot employee that assisted us.
I would say the biggest non-water related issue we have is the noise of the refrigerator. This is the noisiest fridge we have ever owned. We had the guy who came out to look at the ice maker weigh in on the noise and he confirmed it was noisy, but concluded it's just the way the fridge is. Our fridge routinely has a higher pitch noise going on. It's not the random running water for the ice maker, or the ice maker dumping ice or other sounds that would cycle through and are expected. The tech said there was nothing to be done about it. His stated our walls were probably just not insulated good enough to block the sound. Given the way our kitchen is set-up the fridge is along an inside wall, so the noise travels through to other rooms of the house. This is our biggest on-going issue and I might agree that our walls could be better, but we have not had the issue with the previous two refrigerators that we've had.
On the plus side for the fridge, it does look nice and magnets stick to both the sides and front.
We have also had good luck with our ice maker since having gotten it hooked up to the cold water line. I am a fan of crushed ice and it works well enough.
Something to be aware of, the freezer has a wire mesh drawer not a sold plastic one. It may or may not matter depending on what you plan to store, but it's good to know. Also, it's one drawer that spans the entire width. Some fridges have two baskets that slide independently, this is not one of them.
Also, we've found the shelves in the fridge doors to be somewhat frustrating. They aren't able to be spaced far enough apart to effectively store tall items like salad dressing or a ketchup bottle. You'll likely be able to figure something out, but it's something we've struggled with. It's probably a matter of knowing what you plan to store where and then double check to make sure it'll fit rather than assuming it will...
In conclusion, it's a fridge. It'll work. For the money spent we'd have hoped for better support regarding the installation issues, etc., but even without that, the fridge itself has left a bit to be desired. Because it cannot be returned, we'll live with it and maybe it'll grow on us, but we'd not buy it again. Looking nice does not outweigh being noisy and based on our experience it seems customer support is not home depot or fridigidare's priority

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0Â by veryannoyedcustomer Awful and not returnable
Got this yesterday. Ice machine doesn't work and water just trickles out of spout. Hate it. I should have checked out reviews on other websites first.
Read the specifications. It's not returnable. (How is that a product spec??) Thanks for nothing.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0Â by Tony Don't Buy this unit
Don't buy this unit. Purchased one in April 2014. Wouldn't make ice so had repair come out. Said he adjusted the unit. two days later still not producing Ice. Electrolux said ice compartment need a seal kit.
Still no ice. Next tech said we needed a compressor. Still no ice and temperature in Fridge which we now started to monitor, never got over 40. Tech now calls tech support and they said need a new motherboard. After two weeks of waiting for part, we call service company who says part on back order. I call electrolux and they say they have it and the service company needs to buy the part and they file for reimbursement. Still no ice and temp won't go down below 40. Home Depot steps up to the plate, agrees to take unit back and I exchange for LG which works like a champ.

I Love my new Frigidaire French door refrigerator, I had a whirlpool frig for over 21 years, side by side. It was time for a new frig. I can't tell you enough how excellent this product is, plenty of space on top and on the bottom of freezer, I wish I bought one a long time ago. I did go price matching, and Home Depot was the best price, verses Lowes and Sears, I did my homework, very pleased. It was worth working Overtime for 2 months on Saturdays.
