I purchased this refrigerator one month ago. The ice maker has never worked. The service man has been here 4 times and was supposed to come again this afternoon. I wasted an entire afternoon waiting for him and he did not appear and did not contact me. When I originally contacted Frigidaire they recommended a service 450 miles from here. The second choice was within 10 miles. When I contacted them I was told they were too busy. Finally I was given a third choice, again about 10 miles from here.

I love the design and size of this refrigerator. However, I would not recommend it. Like most have already posted the fan freezes and then the temperatures rise to the 50's in both the fridge and freezer. Frigidaire came out and replaced the fan the first time. But, I just cleaned out the fridge and tried to remove the freezer basket, which must have set something off...so the temps went crazy again. Thank god, it fixed itself overnight. I thought I would have to throw everything out again. My advice...shop around. BTW, Home Depot delivered it without a Fridge light bulb and they don't sell them. Thanks a lot....

Great buy, was looking for a French Door refrigerator for our new house, got this one at Home Depot which was on sale, look nice and very spacious my family loves it too.

Have called three times in eight months because ice maker would stop working. First it was the fan freezing then the display wasn’t working. Now after installing a kit that was supposed to prevent the fan from freezing it froze again. I live in a desert and had to buy ice all summer because the repairs never lasted long enough. Customer service is great though. Never have to wait long and very friendly. They told me for my forth repair I would be able to get the fridge replaced. That is great and all but I really just want my money back for the time wasted on this fridge. I have seen many reviews that have this issue. Frigidaire if you are reading this you shouldn’t be selling a defective refrigerator. I should have bought an LG or Samsung fridge.

We bought this fridge and when it was delivered it did not work. After eight hours the temperature was still 78 degrees and the freezer was 80 degrees. I called Home Depot who said it must be on display mode. We troubleshoot the fridge for about and hour only to find what I told them was true it did not work. Had them pics it up and we are buying an LG

My wife and I brought home this atrocity just over 2 months ago and it's been a nightmare since. What they won't tell you is this unit is seriously LOUD and extremely finicky with when it wants to kick on. It makes a high pitched whistling tone, similar to a wet finger along a wine glass. This has been driving my wife and I crazy, and we can hear it from the second floor of our house. We've had FOUR, yes FOUR service techs out since and none of them have a fix. Frigidaire keeps trying to send them out instead of taking ownership of a poorly designed, poorly engineered product.
My wife was just on the phone with them for over 2 hours, constantly being handed from department to department with inept people who won't give us any information and essentially tell us there is literally no way we can return the unit because technically there's nothing wrong - the noise and whistling pitch are just the way the thing is designed. She was on hold, crying out of frustration because of how terrible the customer service has been. Even though it's within 90 days, they won't take it back because the technicians are saying it's within normal function (since when is having a fighter jet engine in your kitchen normal?). Frigidaire is just trying to protect themselves and instead push the problem on the customers. Nice, huh?
TL,DR - Terrible noise out of this thing, Frigidaire support is TERRIBLE, and they won't take ownership of a poorly designed product and instead is making us swallow the 2K we saved up for months by having to keep this pile of trash. Be smart, buy a different brand. We know we are done buying Electrolux-owned brands from here on out. And Home Depot only having 48 hours for you to return the product? That's not even enough time to try fixes, or even have somebody come out to look at it so it's a MAJOR JOKE of a policy, and we are done shopping there. Save yourself from this terrible decision.

Bought and had this delivered..water in door has never been cold and ice maker has never worked thru door. Contacted customer service and had service company come out to fix. Service tech states the ice maker on this ref is known for not working and all you have to do is put a blow dryer on it to unfreeze line that freezes because the ice maker is in the ref section and opening and closing the doors all the time causes the condensation on the ice maker that then freezes. So we never have ice thru the door and we never have had water thru the door. Not like this was an inexpensive ref either.

Love the new Frigidaire French door refrigerator. Works great. No problems so far. Replaced a 15 year old Frigidaire with this new one. Love the space lay-out of the frig and the freezer. Great choice.
