Got this oven in September and it is a huge upgrade since my last oven was a 1974 model. Works great and everything cooks evenly.
A few cons that are not a big deal but wanted to mention. It does take a while to preheat. Not sure if that is normal or not for newer ovens. The thing I really wish I knew was the tracks the hold the baking racks come out and I cannot fit two cupcake pans or pies in the oven at the same time. Not a huge deal but I wish I knew it.
Overall great oven for the price

This oven was purchased to replace a 1960's oven in my apt complex. The tenants are very happy with the unit and definately an improvement over the old oven. These small units are sometimes difficult to find and it's good the Home Depot carries a wide varity of styles and brands. I only hope that this unit will last as long as the previous oven.

The first oven delivered did not work properly. A week later a replacement second oven was delivered and it did not work properly. Another week later the repair service spent 2 hours here... they checked everything and calibrated, etc.and determined it to be defective. Now, I have to wait 2 more weeks for the new panel to be ordered and installed. The manufacturer refuses to pay for over night delivery on a replacement part... even when they sell you defective products. I purchased a brand new oven and I haven't had the ability to bake anything for weeks and more weeks to come. This has been a truly horrible experience.

This is a great looking oven, that said, this is not a great functioning oven. The instructions included are sparse and the controls not the most intuitive - for example 'clear' turns the oven off. There is a front exhaust fan that is quite loud. Lacking a bottom element, the bottoms of biscuits, pizza crusts, and the like remain doughy and uncooked - I know this is the least-expensive single, stainless oven HomeDepot offers, but I still expected a little more for a $1,000+ appliance.

Ordered this oven in early December and had it delivered on January 10th. The installation went well with only a little cutting in the existing cabinet. Although a small increase in size from an existing 24" to this 27" (couldn't go bigger due to space limitations) it's almost like having a full size oven. Have only used it a couple of times but so far it works like a charm and completes our multi-year changeover to all Stainless Steel appliances. Nice looking unit! Delivery was great. The two-man team was very helpful!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by phillygrant Very nice wall oven!
After a messy oven fire in my 20 year old Frigidaire (gas!) oven, I was a little skeptical about staying with the brand. However, having researched the options, and looking at value, nothing came close to being competitive to the value of this Frigidaire oven. THEN Home Depot put it on sale (19% off through 8/8/2014!) - well, it was a no-brainer! A 27" built-in wall oven, self-clean, in stainless steel, with a sealed lower element (SO!!! easy to clean up!!) for under $950?
This baby is HEAVY, thankfully I had it delivered by Home Depot. It slid right into place, and hook-up was a breeze. The manual is well-written (in proper English!) with good diagrams and clear explanation. If you need the help there is a toll-free number to call but I didn't need to. The pull-out racks have a WONDERFUL feature, they have a handle that makes it super easy and secure when pulling the rack forward to place baking dishes!! a very clever and simple idea that is very useful! The lower element, as I was saying, is completely sealed behind smooth steel making cleaning up small spills very easy - there is no element to work around! The controls are simple, easy to use, and easy to read. It does have a cooling fan that blows warm air out the front just above the door but it is very quiet, only a gentle hum. It's NOT Energy Star Rated but uses less energy than most models in it's class according to the energy ratings card attached to it. The concealed elements are less efficient, I guess, as cooling fans are needed to keep the wiring and controls from overheating, essentially wasting a bit of heat that would otherwise exists only inside the baking area. BUT the oven door is cool to the touch, and the stainless is very easy to wipe down, it doesn't seem to be a magnet for finger prints like older stainless appliances used to be. The oven light is VERY bright and the oven is more spacious than my old oven was (I kept the old racks from my old 27" Frigidaire oven thinking they'd fit, but they didn't, the new oven is actually BIGGER inside).
On the whole, LOVE IT, it would have been nice to have convection but I probably wouldn't use it much, didn't in my last oven, but for the price I am VERY PLEASED. This is a very smart looking oven, easy to use, EASY EASY to clean, extra spacious inside, large window for viewing, well-lit, easy controls. VERY good value (especially if you hit one of Home Depot's sales!!).
Definitely would buy again.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sstutts Love my oven. But light switch broken on delivery
This oven is working great for me. Measurements were accurate and the oven was easy to install with two persons. My only complaint was that the push button was broken on delivery in the box. When door opened it just fell out on the floor. Called Home Depot and still have no help to repair. The comment that I got was that I have to call manufacturer. Call to manufacture did not get a resolution to my problem. I still have no light to my oven. But it works very well for what I do with an oven.
