Does this model offer varying levels of water fill to cover small, medium and large washloads?

How long last?

Asked by: ALTA
Can't speak to this particular model but had a Frigidaire washer for 11+ years; a Frigidaire fridge was in the home before I moved in that was green (you know it was old) and used it for 11+ years (was still working when I decided I wanted white), have Frigidaire dryer 11+ years and freezer. I want another washer like this one but dimensions a bit too large for my space. Family members always buying new washers every couple years due to various problems. Read in consumer reports that Frigidaire had fewer repairs than other models. And at least the drum isn't plastic.

3.4 cu. ft. Top Load Washer with Stainless Steel Tub in White is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 128.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy The washer came with the new home. Unfurtunally I am not happy with the machine. First: doesn't have a detergent dispenser, that means I have to pour it in top of the clothe which I don't like. Scnd: doesn't have a short cycle for small loads (baby clothing) and take an hour no matter which cycle you choose. Third: It brake some sheets (2) pillowcases because got stuck under the spinner and I have to buy tools to take out the spinner. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I'm so upset I didn't keep my old washer and dryer I moved into a brand new home, BRAND NEW! It has all Frigidaire products. I'm so disappointed in each one. The washer not only is extremely loud and squeaks but the push button is already starting to malfunction and not work. The unit is 4 months old and I'm the only one at home. How can this already be happening? The dryer door already has popped out its metal closing clasp twice. The dishwasher gets mold in it easily if I don't leave the door open after the drying cycle and my refrigerator already needs a air and water filter change...again, I'm the only one at home and I work. These products are not being used excessively. the only three products that haven't had issues...my micro, my stove and my water heater. Good grief after 4 months... what will happen after they're a year old? It makes me wish I kept all my old non-frigidaire trusty units. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from cute style but awful Brand NEW washer and dryer set which came with the new build house I bought. Washer is AWFUL, I mean TERRIBLE. Loud sqweaking sound and not enough water to fill up past the clothes. I will now have to spend money on something because this is THE WORSE. Dryer doesnt dry well, takes a couple tries. If you have the option, DO NOT BUY. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Takes too long to wash! Washer came with the new house. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a way to regulate the wash cycle. It takes way too long to do one wash. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible I have nothing nice to say about this machine. This machine is of a very poor design and has a very loud vibrating sound that wakes me if I am sleeping or, in order to hear the tv I have to turn it up while machine is running.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loud scraping and grinding noises Received my new washer on Wednesday November 9 and did my first load. Scraping and grinding noises occurred using the Casual cycle during wash mode. I pulled it away from the wall, figured it's new, and it needs to work the kinks out. I used it again on Thursday Nov 10 using Normal/Heavy cycle and it was louder but in a shorter time span. I'm thinking the kinks are coming out. Today Saturday November 12 I'm using the Bedding and Normal cycles. During the wash mode, it's so loud. Besides return this thing, what do I do with the noise? Can it be fixed?

If I had done my homework first, I would have never purchased this washer. It is so noisy. I thought it was not balanced but that is not the case. On every spin cycle, it sounds like the bottom will fall out and it makes a loud vibrating sound. It spins like the basket is uneven all the time and I don't know what to do. This set is only 5 months old AND I have to say that my cloths do come out clean. I have no warranty and feel like I have made a costly mistake.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too noisy This was a stock unit with our new home and will be replaced- two service techs were called about the noisy operation and both acknowledged that this is normal for this model - highly unacceptable! If you do not mind the noise - a great washer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
