Copper cookware is an excellent heat conductor but will discolor. Aluminum cookware is a great heat conductor but if the pans slide across the cooktop they may leave metal marks. Stainless cookware is a slow heat conductor with uneven cooking results. Cast iron cookware is not recommended for use on ceramic cooktops. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good basic stove Bought a month ago and happy so far, seems like glass top is hard to keep clean [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Horrible work top for precision cooking I have had the stove for several years, and I have mixed emotions about it. On the one hand, the oven works very well, heats evenly, and is large enough to accommodate even a huge turkey. On the other hand, the cooktop is terrible. I got this glass top cooker because it looks prettier then the old-fashioned four burner electrics, but the way these glass tops are designed makes it difficult to cook anything that requires a low temperature for a sustained time. Instead of actually having temperatures ranging from high to low, the burners cycle. At high, the burner stays on high. At, say, six, the burner goes on high but only stays on half as long. On low, the burner still goes to high for a few seconds at a time. The result is that things boil over and stain this extremely hard to clean cooktop. It is hard to make sauces or anything that has to stay on low for an extended time; the bottom burns every time it cycles on. Also, the cooktop has a lip around it which makes it difficult to clean crumbs, bits of rice, etc. The one good thing about the cooktop is the dual burner. For some reason, it works well for things like boiling pastas and stews in big pots; use the large burner to bring items to a boil and then switch it to the small burner and it will provide just enough heat to keep liquids boiling but not boiling over. Overall, I would say that if you're not a super serious cook, maybe, just maybe the cooktop would be adequate. The oven is great for baking. But I am sorry I didn't just go ahead and buy the old-fashioned four burner stove and save a little money to boot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stay away from this one unless you enjoy spending your morning trying to get the top clean. This ... Stay away from this one unless you enjoy spending your morning trying to get the top clean. This top does not clean easily ...you need to use a cleaner and a razor blade to get it clean. You need to wait until the top is totally cool before even beginning to clean it. Trust me on this. Secondly, the bottom storage drawer is poorly made and does not glide smoothly ...ours is also out of alignment (one side is higher than the other). Lastly, the oven racks are not well made. When pulling the rack out, it will tilt to the front about half way out. If you are doing something that is filled to the top, you may get spillover. If there was a "return policy" on this one, we would return it immediately. Again, stay away from this one.

The large oven capacity is going to be ideal for holiday dinners. I read a few reviews that it was difficult to clean, but I'm not having any issues with that. I cleaned it with the cream cleaner before cooking on the stove top for the first time, which was recommended in the maintenance section, and so far so good!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the oven capacity Like the accurate temperature control. Set it at the degree you want and it stays. Cook top burners function well. Glass top is a pain. You cook, you clean it, and the only thing you can us is stove top cleaner. It smears if you use a clean dish towel to wipe it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what I expected! I ordered this stove May 21st it was delivered June 4th.I thought it was like the previous one I had for 13years. This one is nothing like it,the top is hard to clean nothing like my other one!!! I changed the bulb in my old one,one time in 13years! I've had this one for two months and the bulb went out already!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from In use three weeks and all goid Still haven't tried all features, like self cleaning cycle, but everything seems to be working fine. Smaller than our previous double oven but sized right to current needs. Like the dual burner size option. Saves wasted electric when using smaller pots and pans on that position

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Size Oven The oven is much larger than my previous stove with the same outside measurements. I do a lot of cooking for events and I can fit so much more in the oven. It cooks evenly and quickly. I love it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
