Researching for a new stove, I found that Maytag ranges have a safety feature that disables the gas completely and can't even be manually lit. LG models can still be lit the old fashioned way if need be. How does Frigidaire work?

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 40 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Control panel and control knobs on front of stove Bubble formed on control panel after using rear burner. Knobs are extremely hot when top oven is used. A pot holder is needed to operate the stove knobs when the top oven is in use August 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Can't believe how great. We have lived here since 1975 with an electric stove. In 2007, because a contractor said it would be almost impossible to install a gas line, we bought a new double oven electric stove. Finally, we saw the Frigidaire Double oven super gas stove at a friends house and said we have to get one. Found a guy to run the gas line and we are so happy. We were going to fix up home to sell, but now there is no way we will leave here with the great stove. Cooking is even more fun now. Only thing we would really want now is a red or gold color set of knobs, but can't find any good quality ones (suggestions?) September 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great features. We went from electric to this gas range and what an awesome decision. The pizza feature sets the temp automatically and alerts you when it is heated. Can't wait for a big get together like Thanksgiving. Easy to operate and easy to clean. You won't be disappointed! September 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works as advertised Have had this stove for a few weeks. While I haven't used the convection yet, everything else works flawlessly even using the pizza setting to reheat frozen pies. Advise all to look over stove for packaging material closely before first use.. Had to take the lower oven door off to get all the blue protective film off and small pieces of styrofoam packing material were in ovens. Am happy with this stove. May 7, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Over heating issues and oven size My husband and I purchased this oven nine months ago for our new home. We have already had service out to replace the plastic backing covering the controls, on the back of the unit. Well, it has happened again and I will be calling once again to have the warped piece of plastic covering replaced. When the oven is on and the back burners are on, they create a lot of heat which melts (warps) the plastic. I wish that they would replace the whole back control panel with more of the stainless steel to cover a larger area, thus reducing that area that gets too hot for the plastic. The smaller oven, on top was a nice feature until I used it and found that is is too small for much of anything, because the broiler part sits far down in the middle, not allowing much room for even a very small baking pan. April 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I bought this 9 months ago. I am really happy that I bought it. I did have an electric oven so I have had to get use to a gas oven. The up keep and cleaning is very easy and the look adds class to my kitchen. September 17, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to use large cooking space Bought this about a year ago took a little time to get used to the cooking time with the oven. Had a problem with the top oven igniter needed to be replaced before a year was up. September 17, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I love the double oven! We bought this 2 months ago and had to have it fixed due to a gas leak but I wouldn't trade it for anything! September 24, 2015
