I ordered this Frigidaire Freezer model # FFC0923DW from Home Depot and was at first delighted. However, it is not like the model shown online. It doesn't have a lock. Also, I don't think they put any insulation in the lid as it is very cold all the time. I don't know about Frigidaire, but usually when you have the same model number the items are the same. I'm very disappointed with the problem with the lid, and the lack of a safety lock. I don't any small children around, but I do have nieces and nephews who visit.

This was delivered to my home and it DID NOT HAVE A KEY LOCK!! I called Fridgidair and they informed me this model was never supposed to be advertised with a lock. It's a fine enough freezer, but why pay for an option that isn't on it?! The freezer look nothing like the picture in the add.

I am a single mother of two teenage girls and a three year old grandson. I have to keep the refrigerator stocked. My freezer allows me to get extra meat on sale and freeze it for later. It's small so it fits in the corner of my dining room. I had it on the back porch first then I got an upright washer/dryer. This was a great relief for me because the way the economy is I shop only for buy on get one free sales. My freezer allows me to shop only once a month. Before I was at the store three times in one month, because my freezer couldn't hold enough food.

I bought this freezer in Panama in 2009. When it arrived to my home, I discovered that mine was manufactured two years earlier (2007 model). After owning this freezer and using it for about eight months the entire lid started rusting and the seal (gasket) started cracking. I'm exceptionally disappointed in this freezer as its efficiency is greatly reduced by the broken seal and it's ugly due to the heavy rust. Mechanically speaking, the freezer works well and is of a good size for our two person family.

This freezer is a perfect size for a family of 2 or 3.
It takes up very little space yet it is surprising what you can store in it. It uses about a 1/4 of the power then our old 23 cubic foot freezer. It is quite light and was easy to install in our basement. I thought it was a good buy for the money.

This freezer is compact yet holds a lot. Works well and is a good compromise between the smaller and larger units.
