Answer:
It can be wired either way.....I wired mine as a plug-in because when I built the house I installed an independent 20 amp wall outlet for it. I did the same for the garbage disposal also! This sure makes it a lot easier when you change either of them out down the road!!!

Answer:
It comes with a plug in three prong outlet connector, but you can hardwire it if your house is already wired for the dishwasher. My house was hard wired to the dishwasher, but I just plugged the wires, shut off the breaker switch to the dishwasher and used the outlet connection under the sink next to the garbage disposal.

Answer:
You have to purchase the plug in for the dishwasher, and then it would be a plug in. It does not come with any electrical connection. It has a electical box on the bottom of the washer to make your electrical connection with whatever electrical supply you have.

You can do the electrical either way; the dishwasher comes with a plug-in power cord, or you can hard wire it (that would require your own wiring).

Your specs say it will be 35 inches high. Will it fit? My space has been fine in the past for two other dishwashers. But it's only 34 1/4 inches high.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great bang for your buck ... A great dishwasher for the price. Easy installation and quiet when it runs. Dishes are cleaned really well. September 6, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Don't do it I am in the process of having the control panel replaced for the second time in 10 months. Two weeks after I bought it it wouldn't complete the full cycle. 10 minutes after I would start it it would stop. Now it is doing the exact same thing again. A week ago it stopped running and didn't even drain. Instead of replacing it (its still under warranty) Frigidaire will only offer to sell me an extended warranty. August 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet, good looking, efficient I ordered the dishwasher online, delivery was made within 48 hours. The delivery was made on time. There was an option to have the unit installed for $59.00, but I did it my self. There was also an option to have the old unit hauled off for $15.00. I did not choose this option either. I just rolled the old one to the curb on trash day and it was gone. The unit is nice looking, easy to use, and very quiet. It does a great job of cleaning. I am using the type of detergent "pods" that were sampled with the unit, and they do a great job. August 9, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do not buy this I have had it for 3 years. I got the warrantee. Right before the warranted was about to expire it started leaking, not draining and not finishing the cycle. The service people came out to fix it - within a week or so it started giving us problems again. They are coming back to "fix" it again next week. The water damage done to my house (that nobody will accept responsibility for) is not worth the inexpensive cost of this unit. August 4, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great washer for price paid This dishwasher provides exactly what the product features claim. It is surprisingly quiet. As some other reviewers have noted, some of the plastic features such as the basket and the cup securing inserts feel a little light but I understand that this isn't a $600 dishwasher. The controls are easy to work and are not over complicated. Install was a breeze. Front plate was a little damaged on arrival but the dishwasher still functions fine. Electrolux extended a damage credit although I believe damage was sustained in shipment. Inspect on arrival. July 22, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Broke during first use Piece fell off and melted. Returned it for a different dishwasher. August 16, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Get Your Salt Pellets Ready With Rinse Agent I found the salt pellets easy to find at Home Depot & Lowes, but not at Wegmans (where no one knew what I was talking about.) I had to really study the manuel before doing my first load that came out great with the salt & rinse with half of the detergent of a larger model I was using. August 4, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't Waste Your Money Does a terrible job... leaves residue on everything.... dishes are still wet upon completion of cycle. Have tried many combinations of cycles and same result every time. I bought this because it was the cheapest Energy Star rated dishwasher.... next time I wont be so frugal. August 7, 2016
