Hey Ginger, thank you for your question! The refrigerator FGHS2631PF0 does not have an internal drain plug. The water being found on the floor of your freezer could be from a leak within the gasket. You may need to check the gasket to make sure there is no visible damage or wear. Is there any frost build-up located within the freezer? If so, you may need to perform a manual defrost on the refrigerator Read More

You may need to check the gasket to make sure there is no visible damage or wear. Is there any frost build-up located within the freezer? If so, you may need to perform a manual defrost on the refrigerator and you can do that by disconnecting the power for at least one hour. We hope this information is helpful to you. First, turn off the ice maker. If water continues to accumulate then you have a leak in the water tank or the in let hose that supplies water to the ice maker, or the ice maker itself. There is no drain plug per se in this model. With the ice maker in the off position, it should send a signal to the control value in the solenoid that controls the water supply to both the freezer/ice maker, and the water Read More

There is no drain plug per se in this model. With the ice maker in the off position, it should send a signal to the control value in the solenoid that controls the water supply to both the freezer/ice maker, and the water dispenser, to close and stop the water flow. This means you just have to turn off the water supply to the refig until you can determine where the problem: the solenoid, the ice maker or connecting hose, or the water tank. You can watch a youtube video on testing/replacing the solenoid. Or you can call a repair man (there is a phone number inside your refrig for assistance). By turning off the water supply at the back, you can at least stop the water from leaking into the freezer and onto the floor. Read Less

Answer:
The water from the door dispenser will be below room temp for the first half glass, then it will be fairly cold. This is due to the design of where the dispenser water lines are located.

Answer:
The ice maker arm turns the unit on or off. If you remove the ice maker there might not be a signal to the solenoid that supplies the water to turn off. But you can turn off the ice maker and remove the ice holder shelf, which is where most of the room is taken, and use that extra space. That won't cause a problem, and give you more freezer storage room.

25.57 cu. ft. Side by Side Refrigerator in Stainless Steel is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 1926.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy I'm not one to review things but I would like to let people know that you may not want to buy this fridge. We've had it two months and it freezes things in the fridge ( I've had to throw out quite a few eggs) I've tried different shelves. also it freezes my milk so I quit putting it all the way back on top shelf now I've had to throw away 2 gallons so far because I guess it's not cold enough towards the front of the shelf. The ice gets stuck sometimes so u have to open door to stop it. I've never had to deal with this kind of stuff with my other refrigerators. I guess we stuck with it I hope it will last a while. And it is noisy! We jumped to fast when we bought this because our frige went out the night before so we needed a new one asap, we didn't do our homework! I don't recommend this frige.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible We have owned this fridge for less than 2 years and we are having to replace the evaporator fan already. And, every time we get ice the cubes get stuck in the door and will all shoot out at the same time or will back up into the freezer and spill out when you open the door. My sister has this same one and has the exact same problems. My repair man said he has worked on this fridge more than any other. Stay away!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rusting door Have this same model but after only a few months the freezer door is rusting under the writer and ice dispenser . They don't replace them so I'm never buying frigidaire again .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features for our family use It has been a good addition to our Kitchen upgrade and we been very happy with Frigidaire products for the last 15 years. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stay Away Not worth the headache. It looks nice, but that's it. The drawers stick and make a screeching noise when opening. Even after adjusting the door heights, they do not match.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Icemaker make dirty ice and door shelves fall off This wasn't my first choice but I got a great price so I went for it. Regretting it now, once month after my purchase. After flushing the water system and the filter multiple times, my ice produces cubes with solid particulates in them (the water is crystal clear, however). I called a service tech who confirmed that the water going into the ice maker was crystal clear but the ice cubes have solid floater in them. He took apart the ice maker, cleaned it and I still have dirty gross ice. Talk about bizzare; how is the source water clean and the cubes are dirtry? He's coming back. Addtitionally, the way the door shelfs attach is shoddy. Bump into them and they fall off on the bottom. Not good. Had my other refrigerator for 19 years and I never should have replaced it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mediocre This new Refrigerator came with the purchase of our home. The ice maker has been an issue. At times, no ice is disbursed as it gets stuck, then it spits out a waterfall of ice. It also has been noisy. At one time, sounding like a motorcycle engine for hours, and just as I was to put a service order, it stops. We have considered swapping it out with our old garage fridge. Seems to be a common issue with this model of refrigerator. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All great, except one tiny feature. I've had this a couple of months now, and it's working just fine. Keeps food adequately cold or frozen, makes nice ice cubes. I've finally gotten used to the shelf configuration which was slightly different from my old one. The only issue I have is that the interior light inches it way on. It's off when you open the door and then slowly ramps up to full brightness. I'm not sure what they were trying to achieve with this feature but I find it annoying.
