Customer Questions & Answers

The customer review says this model has a fan that blows cold air at you while cooking? What is this?

I am going to buy a new slide in stove within the next few days. What is this fan that a customer review says blows cold air at you while cooking?
Asked by: John2645
I agree with GoPro, it is a poor design, and I find the fan to be very noisy. Plus the fan can run upto 30 minutes cooling off the stove "innards" AFTER the elements have been turned off. In one case it took 45 minutes to cool down after cooking a meal using the oven and 3 elements, all at the same time.

My countertop is granite, and is exactly 25.25" deep. it is a full cut-out to the wall. the counter height is exactly 35.75". will this unit fit in where my standard 30" freestanding range was without a gap between the cooktop and the back wall?

Door lockek how do I realese it?
Asked by: Fran
Good Afternoon Fran! The door can be unlocked by holding down the cancel button. If that does not work we would recommend performing a reset on the range and that can be done by disconnecting power from it for at least 30 seconds. Please, do not hesitate to contact us directly or via the Q&A forum on this website for any additional assistance. –Thanks!-

Does this unit come with side panels so that the unit can be used stand alone or do they have to be purchased separately?
Asked by: JCCabin
Hey JCCabin! The range FGES3065PW does not come with side panels. The side panels would be an optional accessory and you can purchase those directly through us. We hope this information is helpful to you. –Thanks!-

Customer Reviews

30 in. 4.6 cu. ft. Slide-In Electric Range with Self-Cleaning Convection Oven in Stainless Steel is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 133.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replace 20 year old Frigidaire This new Frigidaire Gallery slide-in electric range was purchased to replace the same make and model we had for the last 20 years. Frigidaire has made some impressive improvements in that span of time, and kept the quality and dependability that drew us to the brand. Too many great features to list here, but the expanded cooktop, easy to use controls, probe, and quick oven preheat rank high. We hope to get many years of service from this range! P.S. we also purchased the Gallery refrigerator. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Plastic knob panel?? We've had this range for a few years now, and granted it has worked very well. The only drawback is that the panel where the knobs sit is plastic. How are you going to sell a range with plastic so close to the ceramic cooktop! The cookware is merely millimeters away from it and the plastic melts. Very very poor design flaw. I had to touch up the plastic with a sharpie marker so the white plastic underneath the black paint wouldn't be such an eye sore.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HATE IT!!!!!!!!!! I bought this range 2 years ago and I absolutely HATE it!!!!!!!! The range top looks like it is 20 years old. The main cooktop that I use has white circles all over it where it looks like the paint has worn off. This exact same thing happened to the first cook top and we had it replaced. It has now happened to the second cook top. I would NEVER recommend this range to anybody!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from fan blows cold air whenever the stove is on I have to wear a coat whenever I cook!! Because a fan blows cold air out of the stove just above the oven door even if a burner is just on low. This is a very bad design flaw. I am going to have to buy a different stove because I don't want to be mad and cold every time I cook. I just remodeled my kitchen and replaced all my appliances. This stove was my most expensive purchase. Bad job Frigidaire. I expected better from you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crisp, sleek look, great for any kitchen. We moved in to a new home and had this the Frigidaire Gallery® 30'' Slide-In Electric Range picked out. From the amazing look to all of the extra features this model has to offer I couldn't be happier. I just baked all of my annual Christmas cookies in this oven and they all turned out perfect! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely love it! Got this right before Christmas and I haven't stopped talking about it. I'm still getting used to the burners as they heat a lot better than the range it replaced, but I couldn't be more happy! I had never baked with convection before and Wow!, I'm feeling deprived! It is fabulous!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Like the look Made a mistake by purchasing on looks alone. Seems to work well but it has a very noisy fan that comes on when you heat up the oven and stays on for 30 minutes after turning it off, There must be some thing wrong with mine Frigidaire would not design an airplane engine into their ovens. I USED IT ONCE AND WISHED I COULD RETURN IT!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from slide in range The storage drawer drags on the floor when opened. The service person had to drill new holes to raise the flimsy drawer. The plastic around the control panel on the range top will melt and this poor design is called a cosmetic problem and your warranty will not cover it. My recommendation: Don't buy this range.
