Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 166 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice range at a fantastic price. This range is a pleasure to use. The burners light quickly, moving pots from burner to burner is a breeze (especially important when I have my 20 pint pressure cooker on them), and the quick boil burner brings my 8 quart pot to a boil very quickly. At the same time that burner is too hot to maintain my pressure cooker at a pressure less than 12 lbs. I found the simmer burner works great once the pressure is reached. It's to bad the unit does not come with a broiler pan (had to purchase that separately). However the broiler and oven is easy to use. I do like the initial setting for the oven bake temperature at 350 degrees. Please note Home Depot does not sell the conversion from Natural Gas to LP. I purchased the conversion kit from Frigidaire Customer Service directly. The kit consisted of new orifices with easy to follow instructions. With the right sockets and wrenches the conversion is relatively simple. December 10, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good stove This stove is a Consumer Report Best Buy and I would be inclined to agree. It has a good variety of different burners. The knobs on the front feel nice and sturdy and adjust with an easy, fluid motion. The oven is controlled by the touch pad and are a bit complicated at first but not difficult to learn. Baking and broiling both seem to be even with no noticeable hot spots. If you find this unit at the right price, it's definitely a great buy. January 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by love our new stove Couldn't be happier with my new stove. Heats evenly and I love having the extra burner in the center. The quick boil burners are the best thing since sliced bread. I haven't tried the convection on the oven yet but looking forward to seeing how that works. Our old stove was so inefficient, you couldn't light a burner if the oven was going. It is such a relief to not have to think about it! If I have any complaint it's that you have to move the heavy grates to clean the surface, but this is true of many a gas stove. March 24, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Flames are adjustable - who knew? I have been using this range for two months now. It is really handsome and looks great next to my granite (Crema Pearl) countertops. I was unhappy with the fact that, even on the lowest setting, my simmer burners were too hot, making my rice and everything else I tried to simmer on it, boil over. I finally called customer service at Frigidaire and they told me how to adjust the flame for each burner. It's easy - just turn the burner on and take the knob off. Then insert a long, narrow, regular head screwdriver into the hole and turn it until the flame reaches the height you want. I don't know why they don't just tell you that in the owner's manual. Now, if the black range top didn't show every single crumb, oil splatter and particle of dust, I'd say it was a perfect range. On the bright side, it forces me to be a better house-cleaner because I have to take the grates off and clean the entire top surface after every use. April 5, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Difficult to clean. Pop out shelf broke. Power Burners Problematic. I regret getting this oven every day. The black cook top is difficult to clean. You cannot boil water without having to clean the cook top. The black shows every water drop. Very frustrating. I had no idea I was going to waste so much of my life cleaning my stove top when I purchased this. I read another review "the two quick boil burners basically burn the food if you aren't boiling, (yes, I am used to a gas stove) and one of them is on the front of the stove where people with kids should not boil things" and I completely agree. When a recipe says high, you have to remember which setting is high for all the different burners. My kids and my husband cook WAY less than they did on our old stove for this very reason. Even if it was possible to keep it looking nice without spending hours (literally) cleaning it every two weeks to a month (which it isn't), I would still dislike the popout drawer which broke the first week and now the conveyance in the door catches so sometimes I cannot open the oven and sometimes I cannot close the oven causing me to burn myself messing with the shelves and the door. I really, really, really dislike this oven and am thinking of putting on CraigsList and getting an old one just for my sanity and so I don't spend my life cleaning the cook top. December 16, 2014
