Not hot. Only warm. I did not test the temperature. Because it is metal constrution. So it will transfer some heat anyway.

if you use the "quick bake" theres a small fan that runs moving the warm air to cook faster.
This in turns vents small heat to the range area.

I can not find my manual , so I am asking you this questions. . When I preheat the oven, the light comes on, but when I am baking or roasting , the light stays on for awhile, then it turns off. The light will come for awhile , but then goes off again. Is this normal or is there a problem within the electrical control panel?

I was able to download the manuals for my range from the Frigidaire website.

You should be able to do the same for your model.
Which light are you speaking about? The control panel light indicates that the oven temperature has been reached. The oven light lets you see what is behind the glass door.

Hi Teach,
Thank you for your submission. In researching the model FGGF3032MF, we were able to identify the oven indicator light on the oven control display will turn on and off when the oven is heating. This is normal and indicates that the oven elements are cycling to maintain the selected baking temperature. You are able to locate this information in your use and care guide

The very first line of the product overview on HD's webpage says, "The Frigidaire Gallery 30 in. Smudge-Proof Stainless Steel Freestanding Gas Range lets you cook more at once..." but when a consumer asked if the range had a smudge-proof finish in this ask and answer section, the Frigidaire response said it did not.

Can someone please clarify?

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 234 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good stove This stove is a Consumer Report Best Buy and I would be inclined to agree. It has a good variety of different burners. The knobs on the front feel nice and sturdy and adjust with an easy, fluid motion. The oven is controlled by the touch pad and are a bit complicated at first but not difficult to learn. Baking and broiling both seem to be even with no noticeable hot spots. If you find this unit at the right price, it's definitely a great buy. January 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by love our new stove Couldn't be happier with my new stove. Heats evenly and I love having the extra burner in the center. The quick boil burners are the best thing since sliced bread. I haven't tried the convection on the oven yet but looking forward to seeing how that works. Our old stove was so inefficient, you couldn't light a burner if the oven was going. It is such a relief to not have to think about it! If I have any complaint it's that you have to move the heavy grates to clean the surface, but this is true of many a gas stove. March 24, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My expectations are met fully with this purchase Our Frigidaire gas range has performed flawlessly. I was hesitant about replacing a custom, built-in range with this model of stand alone, but you can see by the picture that with minimal work this range looks fantastic in our kitchen. Better yet, our entire family agrees the food actually tastes better cooked on a gas range and oven versus the conventional glass top, electric oven. Home Depot's delivery and set up was on time and 100% thorough. I would recommend Home Depot's price and follow up service to anyone. March 28, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice range at a fantastic price. This range is a pleasure to use. The burners light quickly, moving pots from burner to burner is a breeze (especially important when I have my 20 pint pressure cooker on them), and the quick boil burner brings my 8 quart pot to a boil very quickly. At the same time that burner is too hot to maintain my pressure cooker at a pressure less than 12 lbs. I found the simmer burner works great once the pressure is reached. It's to bad the unit does not come with a broiler pan (had to purchase that separately). However the broiler and oven is easy to use. I do like the initial setting for the oven bake temperature at 350 degrees. Please note Home Depot does not sell the conversion from Natural Gas to LP. I purchased the conversion kit from Frigidaire Customer Service directly. The kit consisted of new orifices with easy to follow instructions. With the right sockets and wrenches the conversion is relatively simple. December 10, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Flames are adjustable - who knew? I have been using this range for two months now. It is really handsome and looks great next to my granite (Crema Pearl) countertops. I was unhappy with the fact that, even on the lowest setting, my simmer burners were too hot, making my rice and everything else I tried to simmer on it, boil over. I finally called customer service at Frigidaire and they told me how to adjust the flame for each burner. It's easy - just turn the burner on and take the knob off. Then insert a long, narrow, regular head screwdriver into the hole and turn it until the flame reaches the height you want. I don't know why they don't just tell you that in the owner's manual. Now, if the black range top didn't show every single crumb, oil splatter and particle of dust, I'd say it was a perfect range. On the bright side, it forces me to be a better house-cleaner because I have to take the grates off and clean the entire top surface after every use. April 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by oven whistles twice every time gas kicks on Have had this stove since 2014 and love it. However, the past 2 times I used the over, I hear a whistle (2 short, high pitched, bird like tweets) when the gas kicks in. This is after the oven reaches the correct temp. Not really sure what it is or if it's dangerous?? August 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love the fifth burner The stainless steel shell is thinner than I hoped, giving it a cheap sort of feel, but so far it has been a very sturdy unit, with good usability, plenty of heat, and nice features. August 12, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I love this stove so far. I have had it a couple of months and have not tried all the features. My favorite feature is the quick boil burner. This stove has two. Comes in handy when you need boiling water in a hurry. I can't wait to try the temperature probe. February 12, 2013
