Rated 5 out of 5Â by MKALBANY Excellent Stove & Excellent Value
After spending a lot of time researching the various models and consulting Consumer Report reviews we settled on the Frigidare Gallery gas stove. It is a good value; possessing many features normally seen on stoves costing much more. The various size burners are convenient. We weren't sure about burner grates over the entire stove top but have found it to be a nice feature for moving pots on and off burners and taking hot pans from the oven. The stove works great and heats up quickly. Delivery was quick. The installers were very polite and efficient. Overall we have been very pleased with our purchase.

I bought this because Consumer Reports said it was a Best Buy and they were correct! This item is very user friendly, the middle burner works terrific, and the burner and oven temperatures are consistent. My only complaint would be the bottom drawer which feels flimsy and does not open and close with ease. I feel that this is a minor complaint and hardly impacts the ranges many excellent points.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by foozlecat TWO annoying quick boil burners actually
I find the 5 burner configuration very annoying. The two quick boil burners basically burn the food if you aren't boiling, (yes, I am used to a gas stove) and one of them is on the front of the stove where people with kids should not boil things. You can't actually put something in the middle if you also put large pots on any of the sides, because they run into each other. the simmer burner is on the back corner, and that leaves only two "normal" burners, one of which is in the middle. I like the nice big oven though it has lots of features I haven't tried yet. And the top is easy to clean. But I would have preferred four normal burners if I had it to do over again

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Cliffc This has only been in the House for about two weeks
We took delivery on this after being without a oven for a year and my wife was very enthusiastic about trying it out - particularly the oven. She had some failures but has steadily mastered the convention oven. The five burner cook top does not have removable covers for cleaning and must be cleaned in place which is a bit of a disadvantage. We bought it in white to match other appliances and because stainless tends to show finger prints. The white is very austere the black and stainless are more impressive. That said we're relieved to have an oven and a broiler. The cook top is versatile. The quality of the sheet metal appears adequate. The price was substantially less than other stoves with similar features. I am rating it good with no significant deficiencies. I think that I may rate it higher after living with it for a while. All in all we're quite pleased with it. Home Depot's contractors installed it taking the old range. We had some snow delay but the contractor did the job very efficiently and the recommended installation kit worked well.

We're very pleased with our range. We love to cook and we need a precise range. On the day of delivery, we bought two oven thermometers to test the inside temps at the point when pre-heating was complete. Both thermometers read 125 degrees less than the oven. We were alarmed and called HD. They sent out an expert to test our range and he brought a $500 piece of equipment to test internal temps. He tested and retested the range and actual internal temps were within 3 degrees of the stated temps.
Everything with our new range works fine and we are very pleased with the performance. The convection function is very nice. The keypad calls convection "quick bake" and that is silly. Convection does much more than baking quickly and Americans can learn that easily.
The large, continuous burner grate is a nice touch for us. We are getting older and our pots are heavy. It is nice to slide them around, rather than having to pick them up at an awkward angle. Thanks for the nicely designed product.
