Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 182 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Stove & Excellent Value After spending a lot of time researching the various models and consulting Consumer Report reviews we settled on the Frigidare Gallery gas stove. It is a good value; possessing many features normally seen on stoves costing much more. The various size burners are convenient. We weren't sure about burner grates over the entire stove top but have found it to be a nice feature for moving pots on and off burners and taking hot pans from the oven. The stove works great and heats up quickly. Delivery was quick. The installers were very polite and efficient. Overall we have been very pleased with our purchase. February 20, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Performance We're very pleased with our range. We love to cook and we need a precise range. On the day of delivery, we bought two oven thermometers to test the inside temps at the point when pre-heating was complete. Both thermometers read 125 degrees less than the oven. We were alarmed and called HD. They sent out an expert to test our range and he brought a $500 piece of equipment to test internal temps. He tested and retested the range and actual internal temps were within 3 degrees of the stated temps. Everything with our new range works fine and we are very pleased with the performance. The convection function is very nice. The keypad calls convection "quick bake" and that is silly. Convection does much more than baking quickly and Americans can learn that easily. The large, continuous burner grate is a nice touch for us. We are getting older and our pots are heavy. It is nice to slide them around, rather than having to pick them up at an awkward angle. Thanks for the nicely designed product. December 25, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great, works even better! I bought this because Consumer Reports said it was a Best Buy and they were correct! This item is very user friendly, the middle burner works terrific, and the burner and oven temperatures are consistent. My only complaint would be the bottom drawer which feels flimsy and does not open and close with ease. I feel that this is a minor complaint and hardly impacts the ranges many excellent points. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great! Love the cast-iron grate work. LOVE the timer setting that allows you to have the oven cook a breakfast dish before you wake up! The temperature gauge helped me cook the juiciest chicken ever. Only thing that is not perfect is the beautiful white top that shows every speck of dirt... needs to be cleaned every day. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Gas Range with Convection for the Money!! I Love Love Love cooking with this range! I've had it about six months and I have found the fifth burner and the two quick boil burners to be life savers on occasion. The convection oven is my secret ingredient for perfectly baked cookies, roasts(thanks to the built in thermometer) and pies. When remodeling my kitchen I had a very small budget and this range was the one thing I splurged on. It's worth every cent more than a conventional four burner/ without convection range. I looked at many different stores for a range with these features at a reasonable price and I found it with this range. It's easy to install yourself, and cleans up easily. I would recommend this range to anyone who is looking for quality and value. October 30, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by TWO annoying quick boil burners actually I find the 5 burner configuration very annoying. The two quick boil burners basically burn the food if you aren't boiling, (yes, I am used to a gas stove) and one of them is on the front of the stove where people with kids should not boil things. You can't actually put something in the middle if you also put large pots on any of the sides, because they run into each other. the simmer burner is on the back corner, and that leaves only two "normal" burners, one of which is in the middle. I like the nice big oven though it has lots of features I haven't tried yet. And the top is easy to clean. But I would have preferred four normal burners if I had it to do over again March 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good - Great stove at a great price We bought this stove because it was highly rated by Consumer Reports, and is half the price of other stoves rated as highly. So far, it meets our expectations. The design is good, it has a convection oven we have yet to try out, and the burners sensitive. I was a bit surprised that you have to buy the broiler pan separately, but that seems to be the way of modern life. Definitely a good buy. February 19, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by features are easy to understand the only problem that I ran into, was no broiler rack or broiler pan. After calling the company, I was told it was an accessory. How can that be? how can you broil anything without a broiler rack or pan? be carefull. check out your new range befor the delivery person leaves. You may end up paying for everything you need to cook on top of range, and below. If you order a gas range, make sure you have a shut-off valve attached to your old range. the truck will leave with your new range. May 14, 2013
