After spending a lot of time researching the various models and consulting Consumer Report reviews we settled on the Frigidare Gallery gas stove. It is a good value; possessing many features normally seen on stoves costing much more. The various size burners are convenient. We weren't sure about burner grates over the entire stove top but have found it to be a nice feature for moving pots on and off burners and taking hot pans from the oven. The stove works great and heats up quickly. Delivery was quick. The installers were very polite and efficient. Overall we have been very pleased with our purchase.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by diygirl Looks great, works even better!
I bought this because Consumer Reports said it was a Best Buy and they were correct! This item is very user friendly, the middle burner works terrific, and the burner and oven temperatures are consistent. My only complaint would be the bottom drawer which feels flimsy and does not open and close with ease. I feel that this is a minor complaint and hardly impacts the ranges many excellent points.

Love the cast-iron grate work. LOVE the timer setting that allows you to have the oven cook a breakfast dish before you wake up! The temperature gauge helped me cook the juiciest chicken ever. Only thing that is not perfect is the beautiful white top that shows every speck of dirt... needs to be cleaned every day.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by foozlecat TWO annoying quick boil burners actually
I find the 5 burner configuration very annoying. The two quick boil burners basically burn the food if you aren't boiling, (yes, I am used to a gas stove) and one of them is on the front of the stove where people with kids should not boil things. You can't actually put something in the middle if you also put large pots on any of the sides, because they run into each other. the simmer burner is on the back corner, and that leaves only two "normal" burners, one of which is in the middle. I like the nice big oven though it has lots of features I haven't tried yet. And the top is easy to clean. But I would have preferred four normal burners if I had it to do over again

We replace this exact same oven that the wiring caught on fire. This was the only oven our local retailer had. I guess we will see if it lasts more then 3 years like the one before.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DaveKL Overall quite happy with the range
I have had the range for several months now. It's worked out quite well, and no big problems with it. I've not had a chance to try all the oven features yet, but the ones I have have tried were easy to figure out. The stove top can be hard to clean. the trick is to keep after it and use a stove polish for this. The burners heat evenly, but take slightly longer that a conventional electric range. Don't let that fool you, they can still get plenty hot.

I Love Love Love cooking with this range! I've had it about six months and I have found the fifth burner and the two quick boil burners to be life savers on occasion. The convection oven is my secret ingredient for perfectly baked cookies, roasts(thanks to the built in thermometer) and pies. When remodeling my kitchen I had a very small budget and this range was the one thing I splurged on. It's worth every cent more than a conventional four burner/ without convection range. I looked at many different stores for a range with these features at a reasonable price and I found it with this range. It's easy to install yourself, and cleans up easily. I would recommend this range to anyone who is looking for quality and value.
