We moved five times in 15 years; and since I like to cook we replaced the exsisting range every single time. The first three times I got a Jenn Air down draft. The first range I loved. The 2. was just a cooktop, in which the air duct started rusting within a year. I blamed this on the insufficiant suction due to faulty design of the cooktop, and got another Jenn Air range the next time around; hoping it would perform like the first one. Bad mistake. Little suction = lots of rust. So when we remodeled the last kitchen I decided to get this range. The two negative things I can say about it after two years are that the convection fan is a little noisier compared to the Jenn Air ranges, and the cooktop scratches easily. I once overlooked a tiny grain of sand from produce... so make sure the surface is clean before placing the pots, and don`t drag them around too much. On the other hand; you can get three of these ranges for the price of one Jenn Air. We just moved again; and I will definitely get another one of these.

I just bought this range on sale. I was looking to overhaul my appliances with some upgrades and this one caught my eye after a lot of comparison shopping. For price, features, quality, and design, It cannot be beat. The stovetop heats up quite nicely and cooks much more evenly than my older one did. I have made perfect eggs and a great stir fry so far. I like the extra large burner in the front too because one of my skillets is exactley that size.
As for the oven, it is a nice size. I have only warmed things up with it and threw in a pizza, which I used the convection for. The convection does seem to bake things a little more quickly. I have never used convection before but heard good things about it. THe convection fan is quiet as well.
I am very pleased with this purchase and am happy I went with a made in the usa frigidaire.
THe controls are farly intuitive as is the oven. They have little markers indicating which is which, which takes some getting used to but a light goes on to tell you which is on.

The frigidaire range is nice, decent quality, some of the things could use improvement. The extra drawer is flimsey and wobbles a bit when pulled out. I was expecting complete stainless, but the rance is stainless front with black side, which is nice when it comes time for cleaning. The stove functions very well, heats quickly and accuratly. The delivery team was very nice, careful not to scratch my floor or other appliances.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by SurprisingWoman Day two and I am less than thrilled. Only time will tell.
This was delivered yesterday. After looking at it there are a few thoughts I have about it and I am not unhappy that I got it but if I hadn't gotten the "Black Friday" price and had to pay full retail I would be a very unhappy camper.
It's a nice looking stove. After playing with the controls a bit I wish that both large burners were not on the front. If I am using both of those and I want to use a smaller pan it will involve me trying to avoid steam burns.
The drawer underneath is super flimsy. I was keeping my Corning Ware in the bottom drawer with my old oven but I will not with this one.
The wire of the shelves is a bit flimsy. I kept a shelf from my old oven and the difference in the thickness is surprising.
I used the convection tonight and made a meatloaf and roasted potatoes. The part of the meatloaf that was facing the door got much browner than the back. I will have to remember to rotate the food on the shelves often.
It has a temperature probe but it only tells you what temp the food is when you push the button. You can't set an alarm when the food has reached the desired temperature so I will still be buying other probes to cook my meals.
The clock isn't on when the oven is engaged. There is no way to set the display back to the clock if the oven is going and if I am cooking a long and slow roast I don't like not being able to see what time it is. I am used to my stove clock being my main time source in the kitchen.
I am not unhappy I have it. Would I buy again? I don't know. This is only day two and I am less than thrilled but the price was okay.
