You could if you wanted to but it makes more sense to leave it on the side where it has the room for it. Then you have more room to load dishes in the wire prongs that are there.

Hello Anonymous,
Thank you for your inquiry. I see that you are asking about moving the silverware basket in your Frigidaire dishwasher (model FGBD2438PF). This silverware basket can be separated and placed in several locations in the bottom rack. Load silverware in all sections or just one, depending on your load. Hope this helps!

I use it on the heavy wash with sterilization and it takes about 2 hours on that setting. On other settings it takes less time. I've used the rinse only setting from time to time and it takes about a 1/2 hour or less

At your home, they probably could. I had this installed in one of our office kitchens at work. The water line came up from the basement and the old dishwasher was directly wired with no plug outlet, so the Home Depot installers would not install it. I received a refund of the installation fee I paid when I checked out online.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sleek design/ awesome upgrade I purchased the frigidaire dishwasher about 2 months ago, as we updated all of our appliances. We are very pleased with it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] October 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this product! I was a bit apprehensive due to the fact that I'd already had a dishwasher that was terrible and I was concerned even though I was spending more for this one, that it would only work so~so. It's quiet & has top and bottom washer dispensers... just awesome! However, I love it. certainly wish I would have invested much sooner! Thanks so much!! August 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ok product everything works fine.. except dishes do not dry fully. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] October 21, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Cleans very well!! This new dishwasher cleans the dishes better than the old one, however the drying function leaves a lot to be desired. The dishwasher retains a moist level and smells if not left open. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] October 14, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Issue with the drain We had to call the repairman after only a couple of weeks of use due to the dishawaher not draining properly. Frigidaire customer service was very nice but the longevity and reliability of this appliance is in question. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] September 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very quiet Love my new dishwasher. Looks great and so quiet when on. Does a great job of cleaning, spot free. I'm sold on Frigidaire appliances. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] September 23, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Does not clean silver wear well I have been using this for a about two months now. Plates and glasses normally come out clean but silverwear is usually very spotty and sometimes has food still on it. I tried washing with less silverware but had similar results. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] September 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by NOT SATISFIED The dishwasher was delivered with the fitting needed to connect the water not supplied. I went to Home Depot to get help and was given the run around for an hour. No one in the store could help me. They sent me from the plumbing dept. to the appliance Dept. and back to the plumbing Dept. No one could help me. I finally found the part myself behind other items. It took 10 washings to get the terrible odor out of the dishwasher. The dishes do not dry, no matter which cycle I use. I would like a total refund. June 28, 2016
