CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 88 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good product If I had read all the negative product reviews as closely before my purchase as I have after my purchase I would have never have bought the product. I am glad I didn't. I am very satisfied with this machine and would definitely recommend it to others, The washer is quiet, solid and easy to use. Remember...this is a "high efficiency" washer. In order to obtain information about how these types of washers operate look them up on You Tube. You will see how the operate without an agitator and with a fraction of the water that the old units used. The complaints about how the tub does not fill with water show a misunderstanding about how these machines operate. The cycles are different and the water used is much less. That's the way they are. Each brand has their own "bells and whistles" but all "high efficiency" units operate basically alike. As for the dryer I have only one complaint. The "timed" operation has a 60 and 90 minute setting. A 30 minute option would have been helpful. May 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Saves water and energy and the clothes get clean too! I like the auto water level sensor. No need to remember to change it for different loads. Also the washing machine energy efficiency switch helps to get a lot of extra water out of the clothes. The only off point is that the auto sensor on the dryer sometimes turns off the dryer and the clothes are still damp. May 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very happy we bought this combo! Great product. October 2, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by RUN! DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE Well if you like washing your clothes in minimal water BUY IT, if you do not mind your clothes not drying properly BUY IT, If you like not being ale to stop and start and regulate the Cycles BUY IT. You cannot fill the tub with adequate water, I tried switching to all the different cycles to get more water..NADA! So I fill a large pot to fill the tub to the right amount when I wash then I have to time it to do the same when it rinses...This is partly my fault for not staring at the "controls" to see there is no minutes etc. just "Casual" Heavy" "Comforter" etc. No extra spin cycle....What a waste of money. When we go to our other home I bring the laundry with me! We had a Kenmore stackable for 20 yrs and god bless it, it finally died...this machine is a joke. I plan to hire a plumber to install an extra hose that I can turn on to fill the tub! December 4, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Wouldn't Recommend Bought this combo a few months ago and for the first month I loved it. Now, I wish I had never bought it. When it works, it works well, but most of the time it doesn't wash the clothes properly, the machine beeps at me and I'm left with a washer full of super wet clothes; most of the time I have to take a bunch of stuff out and then run the cycle all over again. I never pack the machine full but I feel like I'm doing smaller loads than I did with any other wash machine. This doesn't benefit me, nor is it energy efficient if you have to do more loads. I have 3 kids and 2 adults so doing multiple loads a day, and sometimes the same load more than once because they are just dripping wet. I have had to physically wring out towels and blankets because they just held too much water. There is no Spin Only cycle, only a Rinse and Spin cycle which just adds more water to the already wet clothes. An example of my problem would be, I can only wash two bath towels at one time or the machine beeps, stops mid-cycle, and leaves everything so wet I have to take wring everything out and wash two at a time. With 5 people in the house, this doesn't work for me at all. If I need to wash the kid's blanket I can do one large blanket or two small ones (baby sized, of the thicker variety but still small); if I even try to add one more thing like a pair of pjs or something I have the problem again of too much water in bottom in the wash machine and nothing clean because it stopped mid-cycle. If you are single or only have two people in your home, than maybe this machine would be for you. If you like to do a fraction of a load at a time, then this is the combo for you. However, I bought this for its large capacity and energy efficiency; but I haven't seen the results of either of those yet. As I said, this combo worked great for about a month, I was able to do fairly large loads, and now I can only do small loads. I have tried various cycles, tried balancing out my loads, tried just throwing clothes in, put the larger, heavy items on the bottom; it doesn't seem to matter. The only way to ensure my clothes are not sopping wet and the cycle completes is to do small loads, which don't even fill half the wash machine. December 22, 2014
