would this keep sump pump drain hose form freezing

can I wrap this around my drain hose to prevent freezing
Asked by: Steve
This product should help in protection from freezing, but without knowing location of sump pump drain, it would be impossible to say that it would protect 100%.

Customer Reviews

9 in. x 0.75 ft. No Itch Pipe Wrap Insulation R4 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Insulation I would buy it again if I needed it. It says it's 1 inch thick but mine seemed more like 1/4 or 1/3 of an inch, even after I let it sit for awhile. Still, it seems like it will do the job. It's nice that I didn't need to wear gloves when working with it.
