I personally couldn't tell online how little would be in the bag. At the end of the day, no matter how it's packaged, this is foam, and not much of it for the price. So, I bought one in-store, it seemed paltry for my uses and instead of doubling on this, i just bought a piece of pipe insulation. Depending on your needs, I found them to basically do the same thing. The insulation I need around the air conditioners is a two week problem for me while my replacement central air system is ordered and installed, so this works well for me and is much more cost effective. I think this is the more finished looking product for sure, but if that's not a concern, it's something to think about.

I cut the opening for a new bath fan too large. The fan grill covered the opening but at little of the spray insulation in the attic was getting sucked in the fan. This foam A/C weather-strip was a quick, easy, and inexpensive fix.

I purchased this product not to be used as a caulk backing but to seal gaps in roof to wall boards in a log home. It works great and cheap to do

It's foam! Needed something to seal the gaps around my in-window AC. This foam did the trick. There's nothing fancy about it... Would've nicer if it were longer and cheaper. A dollar a foot seems a bit much for foam.
