Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Paul Barn Door Side Seal
I have a shed with sliding barn doors. Attaching this seal to the outside on the left and right covers the small gaps and keeps rain out. The seal was very easy to install and works well. There is twice as much material as necessary, so if either side is ever damaged I can replace it easily. If you use all 30 feet at once you will need more nails.

Good product. Worked well. Easy to install. I would suggest this product to anyone who needs to seal their garage door.

The package says that this is 360 inches long, and that the nails should be approximately every 3 inches. Which would require 120 nails. My package included 69 nails, and was only 353 inches long, so it was short on one side. If I had known, I could have planned for that in the beginning, instead of most of the way to completion.

I just install this over the weekend and it installed easily. I spent some time with a sliver of a piece of the weatherstrip to see how it was going to fit and how to align it so it sealed tight to the door. In my case I put the wide side on the door frame even with the inside edge of the door frame. That put the curved seal side up against the door. HOWEVER, I did NOT even try to use the big head roofing style nails they supplied. I used my air operated brad nailer to tack it up then covered the wider side with 3/4 wide wood moulding I painted to match the color of the weatherstrip. You really don't see the wood and it is flat with so sags. It is tight to the door (I need a putty knife to lift it) and I no longer have wind and dust blowing in around the door. I live in a hot area so I will see how well it holds up in the heat. (90-100 deg everyday)

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by CustomerConsumer Product shrinks and cracks in hot weather
The product shrinks from ( heat/sun ?) within a couple of months it is useless as weather-stripping. If you plan to use it in a warm climate ; do not purchase this product.
After it is nailed in place (per instructions) it is very hard to remove and repair nail damage. Thermwell Products the mfg/rep have not responded after several calls. DO NOT Purchase this product

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rosie Did a great job covering the gaps
One complaint is that one roll was not enough as it said it would cover 2 garage doors. It DID NOT so i got in my car, went to Home Depot and they don't carry it IN THE STORE. SOOOOOOOOOOOO, went to Lowe's and had to purchase the 2nd roll. I was quite frustrated

After 2 years it has completely dry rotted. It shrunk and cracked, rendering it useless. It breaks apart when touched.
