Answer:
It seems to need the pressure of the floor underneath it to help hold it on. I tried to use it on a door from the house to the garage where the floor is lower. It doesn't work at all and I have to return it. As soon as the door opens outward, the draft stop falls onto the floor.

Answer:
Actually It's design pretty much stops it from moving out of place. However it is possible if bumped for it to move but it only takes a second and minimal effort to return it to place. I put mine on my front door and out of the hundreds of time I have open and closed that door it has only needed to be readjusted 3 or 4 times.
I hope this helps.

Answer:
I'll bet someone could probably find a way to do that Alex, but an easier and perhaps better choice might be to use this item for under the door drafts as intended then apply self adhering vinyl V channel weather stripping on the sides and top of the door jamb if needed.
I hope this helps - RE

Yes. Directions on how to customize it to a door (if needed) came with mine. Even though it fit my door perfectly the directions on how to customize it to the door (again if needed) did not at all seem difficult.
I hope this helps.-RE

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Inefficient, not worth the money. Does not work. Flimsy material, needs to be readjusted. June 6, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Draft stop For the price I guess you get what you pay for because the thing it's pretty cheap. You have to cut the foam inserts to fit the door and then there is loads of fabric that just sticks out. I guess it does the job of keeping draft out but it's ugly and cheap. May 10, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by draft stopper It constantly gets stuck when you try to close the door. March 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stops the Under Door Drafts Blocking the draft on both sides of the door is an improvement over only one side. If the fabric were a little thicker and the insert a bit weightier the draft dodger would stay in place better under thinner doors. March 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good. Easy to assemble Easy to assemble. Nice Design,Good Size & Weight thask home depot March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Door draft I had to replace a door draft I purchased 18 years ago that started getting jammed under the door. I looked online and some came in small boxes with 3 styrofoam tubes that had to be placed in each side. This didn't appeal to me as I could see it shifting and getting stuck. I wanted something that had 1 piece in each side like what I had which worked great. Online (ordering from Vancouver, Canada), these were super expensive especially with shipping costs from Ebay and Amazon, and Home Depot had what I wanted at a wayyy cheaper price. The Home Depot in Canada did not have this same item online, so I ordered it from the Bellingham store and picked it up when it arrived. November 10, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Double Draft Product works well but the quality is poor. I don't expect it to last long. I had to cut mine to fit but there is no way to hide the excess material so it looks terrible. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stops the drafts Easy to cut to size. Effective at stopping the cold air coming in. Worth purchasing February 11, 2016
