It cut easily and smooth on my miter saw... being ever so careful not to get sawdust in my Budweiser. It sealed my garage doors up tighter than a frogs butt and I reckon it'll probably pay for its self in 50 years.

Don't waste your time or money on this. The material is to thin for the application. It is the lowest quality garage-door weather strip I have EVER used.

I installed this weatherstrip prior to having my house painted so everything would get painted at the same time. Less than a week later it had shrunk and curled on the bottom so I cut the damaged section out and replaced it with a new piece of the proper length that I had left over. That lasted about another week before shrinking another inch at the bottom and slightly less at the top.
It appears the sun affects it as the side of the door that is shaded had less shrinkage. This was temps in the 90's at most. I can't imagine what it would have done in the summer heat in 110's plus.
This was a complete waste of time and effort to install as it had to be removed and returned for a refund.

Was a little disappointed with the thickness of the product. It is only about 1/4 in. thick. Other than that, it was easy to install.

The weather stripping around our garage was yellowed and cracked. The door are oversize, so it was hard to find weather stripping long enough that it didn't have to be pieced. I found just the right thing on HomeDepot.com. My teenage sons were able to take down the old and put up the new. It looks great, and was a valuable learning experience for my boys!

To be clear, the rigid vinyl part is 2" wide, and the flap adds another inch.
I purchased 7 of these to replace similar aged seals on my two garage doors (the flaps had become brittle).
After a few weeks in the southern Californian sun, the seals started shrinking and warping, to the point where they were pulled off the nails. On a 7' length the shrinkage was more than an inch.
Total waste of time, money and paint; have to find a better quality replacement and do the whole job again.

Easy to use, it would be nice if it came in a 16 foot section for double doors.
