I have bought this product before but this year the box did not contain sheet plastic of the size advertised. DO NOT BUY if your door size is less than specs. I got a sheet about 72 x 210 instead of 84 x 110. Doesn't work for me. I am angry!

Since I installed the plastic over all my windows in my apartment I noticed an enormous difference in the draftiness and cold all over.
The way I cut the plastic I was able to cover 3 standard Windows (I cut 70' by 40'). I brought additional double sided tape (which I would suggest because the tape itsnt the best)
The tape they put in the box cover two windows though.

Taps is razor thin and extremely difficult to work with. Tape does not adhere to the work surface. It is unusable. Plastic barely stretched when heated. Spend a few more bucks and get the good stuff. (I've now used this, as well as the 3M product - 3M is superior) Stay away from this product. I had to finish my project with packing tape. Needless to say, it looks awful. DO NOT BUY!

This is a frustrating waste of time and money.
The tape does not stick, ever.
I would never recommend this product.

I ordered this to cover most of my drafty windows, I don't
mind fresh air but I do mind the smoke from chimneys
that although are not close by, it seems to stick around my
apartment, being asthmatic you can guess my first winter
in this apartment is no fun. It must be the geography of the town and the fact that we don't get a lot of wind around here. I do recommend that you allow some "give" on windows that get full sunlight through most of the day (that we do get a lot) because it will shrink the plastic and start to loose it's grip on the glue, luckily for me I had left over 2 inches on the sides and had glue tape left over.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TerryK Easy installation
After reading other peoples experience trying to install this product, I was hesitant, and after reading the install instructions saying the tape will not adhere to wall board, which I assumed that meant painted drywall...I was going to take it back to the store, but decided to give it a try, it only cost 8 bucks....The window in my apartment is over sized, the tape held fine and installing the plastic film was so easy a child can do it...the wrinkles came out with no problem while using the hair dryer and over all the insulation barrier is holding up just fine...hopefully no more cold air will come into the bedroom this winter!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bryan Works well, easy to use, use extra tape on cold ceramic tile.
Works very well, easy to install, instructions were clear. Plenty of 2-sided tape included. The only problem I had was getting the tape to stay put on ceramic tile on the floor. I had to reinforce the tape provided with a couple of strips of gorilla tape, and that has worked pretty well. The problem was that the room I used the product in has no heat - it's a sun room that we close down in winter, and I used this to cover sliding patio doors. On the cold tile, the extra tape was needed. In a heated room, I suspect the tape they include will work fine.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Chad Waste of money
I've heard of people using such products to increase the R value of old windows. I bought the bait while shopping and picked up the product. Installation was a waste of time. The tape did not stick to any of the surfaces surrounding my patio door. I thoroughly cleaned the surfaces, allowed them to dry, and waited the fifteen minutes before removing the paper backing. In many cases, the tape did not stick. In the areas tape did stick, the plastic did not stick or it pulled the remaining tape off. I tried this on a number of locations around my patio door with the same poor results. Don't waste your time or money for this product.
