This is a good product that is easy to install. It was easy to cut with a kitchen scissors. However, the fact that it is so soft makes me question how long it will last and why it cost $14 with tax. I bought it for my interior basement doors - 2mths -so far working ok.

I was pleased with the slide on door sweep. It is worth getting and trying before you drill into your door. If you do not like it. Just return it.

Although it states cut to fit, I wish the material wasn't so hard to cut through. I broke two heavy scissors and I barely cut through it with my box cutter so my cut wasn't as straight as I would've liked it to be. Besides that I do see improvement with the draft coming through and it slightly helps with the noise as well. (you have to remember that there is only so much this product can do) There is a a low sound when opening/closing my door but eventually faded. I am loving this product but I don't believe it's worth $13 more like $8.95. But hey, if needed I would purchase another one!

We have a draft coming under our door since getting rid of carpeting and putting in laminate.(Builders should no better than to carpet the entry way!) I thought this would solve the problem. I cut it to the correct length, thus ending any chance of returning it. Slipped it on, so far so good. Closed the door and the door would not shut without excessive force. Opened the door up and the entire unit slipped under the door. Pulled it out, and the foam strip tore off in the process. It's now on the door that leads to the basement, a door that doesn't have the threshold plate that exterior doors have.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Drone Easy to install and seems very efficient - does what it claims
I would have been really happy if it were to be under $10, but, hey, may be I am greedy. I bought this items this morning and was able to install it to an inner door - door from my happy way to basement - where i was seeing a consistent air flow to the basement from my main level air vents. this is blocking a lot of that. THanks Frost king / Home depot - it is a well engineered product. the ridges below the product provide multiple layers of protection and the engineered material does not attaract dust and lint.

$13 is a bit much. not understanding negative reviews that it doesn't fit or door wont close. It doesn't fit any door out of the box, hence CUT TO FIT. I measured it to the door cut it with bone scissors. Then of course cut areas to avoid the door jambs on closing the door or um the door isnt going to close. basic common sense.
The door has a 3/4" gap to floor so basically the only thing touching the floor is the foam portion which presently is sealing out all air floor. I cant imaging this foam piece lasting long but can keep adjusting it down. I'll eventually have to figure out a more permanent solution. Time will tell.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Asiangem Uneven Hardwood floors - Works better than the metal door sweep
This is our second one we are buying. My wood floor is uneven so when I used a metal door sweep it was too high since the floor is higher where you open the door than when you close the door it is lower; So using this door sweep adjusts for the uneven hardwood floor area so that it does not allow the air to get under my bedroom door. Thus my mother's throat feels much better without the air and light coming under her bedroom door. Another user mentioned that the form came off; my mother has been using this for over 2 months and the foam has not come off. I put two screws on the back and two screws on the front of the item since it kept on falling off my mother's bedroom door; that may be the reason why the foam has not fallen off.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DoItHerselfer Didn't work on my door
I have a very drafty front door and of all the draft stoppers I looked at in store, this seemed like it would do the best job. It didn't. Had to adjust the length, which was easy enough, but as soon as I got it on the door and closed it, the draft stopper came right off, under the door. Will return and continue my search.
