do the ends of these baluster pivot?

I need balusters that would be up to 33" long, but will be able to tilt (like the 28.35" ones do). The height between my treads and railing is about 33" max. The treads are (obviously) level but the rail is at about a 42° angle.

Would these work on what I'm looking to do?? I was going to originally use the wrought iron balusters but that would be a little much for my small cape. However, I think that this contemporary style would be ideal.

Answer:
A landing baluster does not pivot , it should be a fixed position. the Fusion line of products is a complete stair system of top and bottom rails that the balusters fit on. it is not installed directly on the tread. thank you

In the store, the black balusters are square. These look round, but I can't tell for sure.

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful contemporary style balusters I wanted to replace the 2x2 square cedar balusters that had been used on our interior staircase with something more sophisticated. I didn't want to replace the entire rail system, so I ordered just the balusters. My installation required cutting the balusters down to an appropriate length. Aside from that, the product assembled and installed easily, and the results are stunning. Positive feedback from everyone who sees them. Some of the plastic ends were cracked, so the extra pieces resulting from ordering whole cases were needed. I'm sure Home Depot would have replaced the defective units, but I didn't have to worry about that. August 21, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by beautiful, unique and modern We were looking for something exactly like this, so they are perfect for our new stairs. I didnt find anything else similar online or in stores. Shipping from HD was easy and we were able to pick some up in the store (from stock). The vertical post is beautiful stainless steel tube and can be cut to any length. But the fittings on the top and bottom are chrome painted plastic, which was surprising. Though, now that they are installed i dont think anyone will notice they are plastic. Its important to know that your stairs must have the same angle as the fittings for the angled balusters - the plastic feet are not adjustable and do not rotate. Luckily, our stairs were the same (43 degrees I think?). Also, the screws provided are not the best quality. We had quite a few of them strip while we were installing. And, do not skip the step where you screw the plastic feet to the inside of the tube. We forgot a few of these and then the metal tubes rattle as you walk up the steps, so we had to take them out and install again. Now they are all installed and we get compliments all the time - they look great! December 8, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Biggest piece of garbage I have ever seen. I would not even show this to my client. This should not be sold in Home Depot October 14, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Light weight material-But looks great The actual "tube" is constructed of very light weight metal. The connectors seem to be plastic with chrome finish. The entire baluster is would not be very sturdy if safety is a factor in your staircase/landing construction, but if you want the metallic brushed nickel/silver look, there are very few choices out there except for this option.
