Answer:
I have not glued it down, but used carpet tacking around the room to hold in place. The padding is staying right where I put it.

Answer:
If you are installing the Contractor padding over a concrete floor you will need to use an epoxy adhesive to secure the pad. For hardwood, staples are most commonly used as an installation method. However, the Contractor pad is not recommended for use with carpet tiles.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Even though we do not add latex to our products, due to the amount of various types of materials used to manufacture our rebond products, we cannot guarantee there is not a trace of latex.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Deal This was a great deal for use in the basement over concrete. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Seems to work well under the carpet, covered the whole area for my needs. I would buy it again! Carpet padding was easy to install, I wasn't sure if I'd have enough to cover the area to carpet but I did. It's not real cushy but it does the job. I wasn't looking for plush in the room that I was installing the padding and carpet. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Carpet paf Installed it in my basement. Worked great. Easy to work with. Not the best padding but it is great for the price. It goes a lot further than it seems as well. Both got 2 rolls based on the specs and recommendations. Only needed 1 and had left over. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for sound insulation too I used this padding under all my apartments through rugs with better then expected results. Walking on the floor can no longer be heard by my down stairs neighbor. It is super soft on the feet and helps to hold the rugs in place. It also insulates against bad weather too. One unsuspecting feature of the padding was how well it reduced echos and improved overall acoustics of the place. I ended up making cool acoustic panels by mounting the padding on thin wood covered in a speaker grill cloth. Placed around the apartment, our conversations can no longer be heard outside of the thin walls and the home theater sounds awesome. Worth it! April 17, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy size to handle If you can afford it go with the thicker product. The size was ease to handle because I had to move and install around a lot of furniture. I could do a 6" section at a time. May 10, 2016
