Product Overview

The G-Floor Cover and Protector is manufactured from tough, specially formulated polyvinyl that is resistant to most contaminants commonly found in garage and work environments. It helps prevent concrete deterioration, hides cracks and stains, prevents new stains, and creates a moisture barrier. Easy to install, just roll it out and trim if needed. Use one mat for single area protection, or multiple mats to provide wall to wall coverage. G-Floor is 100% high quality polyvinyl, not layered with filler material that can crack, split, peel, and deteriorate. Tough enough to be used in the garage, attractive enough to be used anywhere; basements, laundry rooms, trailers, vehicles, workshops, warehouses, exercise rooms, offices, and utility rooms.

what glue do i need for concrete floor?

Asked by: waterboy
I did not use adhesive. The edges do curl a little, so I put heavy weight on them until they relaxed

Are edges tapered? If not how do edges stay down from dragging door Jack's in and out and foot traffic?

Asked by: Gtonut57
The edges are not tapered. The front edge of the flooring can be secured using an acrylic based double sided tape.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inexpensive solution for cracked garage floor My garage floor is cracked, broken, dusty, a mess. I kept trying to figure out what to do about it, and all I read was that I should have it jack-hammered up and repoured. I am a single person, older, not wanting the expense. Then an employee at Home Depot told me about this flooring. It was so heavy, but I was able single-handedly to get the roll moved one end at a time to my garage door, and then unroll it by myself into place in the garage. I am really happy with the appearance and the way it keeps dirt out of my basement. Thank you for this good product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am very pleased with this product. The G floor looks very good on the garage floor. It is easy to install. I left the package sit on the driveway in the sun through the day so that it would be more pliable and then installed it in about half an hour in the evening. It rolled out flat with no wrinkles. There is a UTube video with installation suggestions. I do not yet have experience with parking the cars on it since I installed it today. I have a two car garage but ordered only one sheet to try it out. Based on my experience I will now order a second sheet to fully cover the garage floor. Delivery took almost two weeks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like it. I bought this to put on the floor of my car trailer. This is actually designed for garage floors so keep that in mind as you read this-it is my experience only. My trailer had similar flooring in it that was worn out. I bought this to replace it but when it arrived I noticed it was much thinner and stretchy. The trailer is 8'6" X 20" and I bought a 9 X 20 Roll. The ends were not cut square which made a good fit difficult and I ended up a little bit short and crooked on the ends. Also, being thinner and stretchier (is that a word?) when I pull the car in it tends to gather around the tires and wrinkle up. The old flooring was stapled down only around the perimeter so that’s what I did here and now I wish I had used adhesive across the whole bottom of the mat. Used as it was meant to be on a garage floor this would probably be fine. Glue it down though or it will wrinkle up around the tires. Bottom line, it looks great and knowing what I know now I would have installed it differently. My fault, not the product. I only write this review in case someone else is considering a similar use-don't make the same mistakes I did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just as I had hoped for! It is very heavy to maneuver being 20 ft long but it lays flat and looks terrific. You do need to get it warm in the sun before trying to lay it after being rolled up so tightly, but a few hours in the sun did the trick. It takes at least two people to maneuver it in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect - Solved any Possability of Hot Tire Pickup Nice HD Industrial Grade Polyvinyl. Easy to clean, no slip, and does not show tire tracks. I left it in the sun for a few hours, rolled it in place, used the roll core & added a little weight to it to get the ends to lay flat - Next day, ends were laying down perfect. I have a double pull in garage (40' Long X 12' Wide, Plus a 10' X 20' Area) I recently did a 5 month total renovation to the 10 year old town home I had purchased. The Garage (Man Cave) was the final project. I had quotes as high as $4,500 to do an Epoxy Floor. But was concerned because the floor had previously painted, the first time I drove on it I would have got tire pickup - and the installer would be long gone - with me to clean up the mess. After a few months of looking into different options, I choose to to it the right way - so I did it myself. I ordered 2 Gallons of DryLoc Floor Paint, scrapped off any loose paint, used a drywall sanding pad & stick to put a little bit of scuff to the existing floor surface, mopped with Ivory Dish Soap, used my shop Vac to clean up all the edges, and my blower to clear out any remaining dust. I then used a brush to do all the cutting. (I have bad knees so I picked up a mechanics sit on roller creeper for $20 - well worth the money). Then used a 3/8" Mini-Roller to apply paint on the floor. Remember less is best. It's going to take 2 coats anyways - so don't try to cut corners by trying to do it in one coat. Each area took 2 Coats of the DryLoc Floor Paint (I let it dry overnight - then did the 2nd coat). Because it was so humid out - the drying time is longer for it to completely dry. Even tough I could walk on it the next day - I would suggest 3-5 days before any heavy traffic. Trust me - good things come to those who wait. I now have the best looking garage in the area. My total investment was $400 including tax & shipping for the G-Mat, $80 for 2 Gallons of the DryLoc Floor Paint, $20 Rollers & Brushs, Misc., and my time (Free Labor). So the whole project cost me $500 - and I know the job was done right. Now I can take the $3,000-4,000 I saved and do some major upgrades on my cabinets, mini fridge, ect. And have plenty of money to stock the fridge with RootBeer for years to come. If you are hesitant to take this on as a DYI Project, all I can say is - Trust me. I'm a better painter than any "Professional" I had in my house during the 4 month renovations. You will be glade you did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from G-floor 75mil thick diamond tread- great stuff! This is the best thing ever! You just roll it on to your fugly floor. You will love it! Sent for the 75 mil for the extra thickness. This is a floating floor. Don’t do what my husband did and put your heavy doors on your big storage cabinets and then try to move it in place. I told my husband this but of course he didn’t listen. Now we have a few small wrinkles. It can be fixed though.
