Shingles are 12 inch (=1 foot) high and 24 inch (= 2 feet) long. As to per item offer, one package (case) contains 18 pcs. Thus one package covers 36 linear feet in height of 1 foot.

Weatherside Purity Straight 12 in. x 24 in. Fiber Cement Shingle Siding is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 54.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Asbestos replacement!! These are the perfect product for replacing those pesty broken asbestos shingles on our house, the shipping was free but the freight took a full extra week so plan ahead. They come to your house by truck. All in all a great product! Don't forget to order the nails, they are impossible to find anywhere else!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved the sale of my house! The only thing we failed on the inspection of our house sale was a few cracked asbestos tiles along the bottom row. The "correct" way to deal with it is to caulk and paint to encapsulate it, but the buyer didn't want that, and honestly I agree. Hiring someone to deal with it would've almost certainly led to complete remediation or residing the house, and I would've just stopped the sale before that happened. Instead I found these for $125, spent about 30 minutes swapping them out, threw on a little paint, and now the buyer even has some spare tiles for the future. If you're just popping some old tiles off and nailing these on, there's no dust involved. Thankfully someone else mentioned ordering the nails as well, and I couldn't agree more. One bag is more than enough. The box had 16 shingles in it and none were cracked in transit. I broke 1 doing some test fitting. My existing siding has a slight wave to it, but the wavy ones they have here are more aggressive, and I've seen them on other houses since I installed these. I'm definitely glad I went with straight. Maybe I'll come back and upload a picture/link sometime.

I needed this product to match some existing asbestos siding after removing some doors and installing a new patio door. This product is extremely expensive and very fragile. I used a wet saw to cut it and didn't have any problems. We did crack a few pieces after nailing them up. We did have to face nail in a few places and you must pre-drill!!!! Make sure you make the hole large enough, you do not want the nail biting any of the edge when hammering it up. You will crack the siding. If I could do it again, I would have just resided the entire side of the house with James Hardie board.

They matched my old asbestos shingles fairly well - you have to look hard to notice the difference after they are painted. They break easily so you need to be careful when installing. I'm not giving a 5th star because I would think the manufacturer could add some type of nylon or fiber mesh to make for a more durable, quality product.
