Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chris Good replacement microwave
I replaced my old GE microwave since the touch screen went out. This microwave is nicer than my original. It is quiet and easy to use and installation was pretty basic. I've used it for a few months now and haven't had any issues. The only complaint I have is that the turntable is not very smooth, so if you heat a cup of liquid, it sometimes spills because of the jerkiness of the table.

Individual keys stopped working, replaced board + Key pad and frame at about the same. (more than the unit costs!) I really liked buying GE because it is American company. VERY DISAPPOINTED. unit is 2008 and we take very good care of our appliances...regularly cleaned and looks brand new. Competitor....here I come. Home Depot not a problem GE...in this case...designed junk...steam from boiling water is likely the culprit on the keypad. Not hermetically sealed? Who would have thought that an engineer would not know that over the range microwave ovens are subject to steam? Ridiculous!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Scott Great product... but no charcoal filter included.
Although Home Depot and others have the same price on the same model, others have them in the store so you can take it home with you. Home Depot does offer free delivery from the GE warehouse and will take away your old one. Other store's version also has the charcoal filter (for indoor venting) included... the Home Depot one does not include this $35 part. I only bought this at Home Depot, because the other store was out.
This microwave is MUCH quieter than my last GE. I love the features. It is easy to use and medium difficulty to install, unless you are replacing another GE like I was (which makes it EASY) and you can just hang it where the old one was on the same bracket.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 1glc This lost cost microwave oven has every option that my family needs.
This easy to use GE microwave oven replaces an earlier model that my family used in our kitchen for many years. This new microwave oven fits the space and installment parameters already in place in my kitchen. Installment was easy. The oven works very well. You'll find the often used reheat, popcorn, and other shortcuts ready for your selection. The touch pad choices have been reorganized, so I am relearning that. Overall, this GE microwave oven is a excellent choice for consumers seeking several features for a reasonable cost.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Turbotato Early Days but Looks Nice and Works Well
I bought this microwave as a replacement for a 16 year old GE microwave that finally gave up. This model fit right in where the old unit was and was easy to install. Even though the overall size is about the same, the interior of this oven is much larger. It comes with two racks (in addition to the turntable), but the position of the racks is not adjustable, so practically speaking, you can only use one of them. The oven itself seems to work fine and so far no issues. I got mine on sale for $189 delivered so you can't beat the deal.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by fitz POOR vent
This oven has an overall bulky look and was professionally installed but has never functioned in a satisfactory manner. I expect a microwave to heat, and this one does. I also expect a combo unit that is vented to the outside with a 300 cfm fan to vent cooking odors but this unit seems to blow odors back into the cooking area. A check on the outside shows some air moving to the outside but the the unit does NOT perform as expected. May have to have it replaced with different brand.
