The lights were affordable and so very easy to install.
On/Off switch is neatly located on the lighting strip.
If you don't have the skills to hardwire, this is the next best thing. The cords were run up through the inside of the cabinets to the electrical outlet at the microwave. A small hole was drilled to allow cords to be run through cabinet shelving. Quick and simple.

I purchased this light to replace an 18" fluorescent light that annoyingly only worked when it wanted to inside the computer armoire. Since the computer is mostly used after dark, I was worried that the 2 LED's would not be enough. The lighting tech at Home Depot said it would provide plenty. He was correct. It provides just as much light as that 18" fluorescent did - when it worked. I easily installed it over a week ago and I am thrilled with it and LED's can't create the fickle problems of what it replaced!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by WaywardShopper Easy to install and nice light quality
I installed this light model under cabinets in our kitchen. The installation was easy under our sink where there shelf is thick. You will find that the keyhole mount will require you to add a block of wood under standard cabinets to prevent the mounting screws from poking through into the interior of the lower cabinet shelf. I have purchased three of these to this point. One of them was DOA. They are such a good value that I went ahead and ordered replacements.
When I looked at the photo on the home depot site, I did not think that the small light source would provide much illumination. Now that its installed I can say that it does a good job adding light to the counter. I suggest getting the three light version for over the sink or if you need lights to be stronger because of vision challenges.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kuschbear Great, but pricey
These lights installed easily and look fantastic in my kitchen! These are definitely the best under-cabinet lights available. They were pricey, but I chose to use these lights under the cabinets and use very inexpensive string lights above the cabinets giving a professional and cost-effective overall look to my kitchen. My husband still can't believe I put them in myself ;)

I have been very happy with this light strip. I have installed them under the kitchen cabinets to add counter light. The lights stay cool to the touch no matter how long you leave them on. I also added one inside a bathroom cabinet where I hide my litter box. It offers more than enough light and adds no heat to the cabinet.

Overall, this is an excellent light fixture. It's easy to install, and links up with other units so you don't have to worry about taking up all your outlets. My one complaint is that the linker provided is merely 12" long. The light is bright and pleasant. I've had it for over a year and have had no problems whatsoever.

This is a two light bar, besides the fact the description says three.
It's easy to install, lightweight, runs cool. Color is great for kitchen work. White color light is enough for good "task lighting," yet not too bright.
Must use GE Direct wire junction box (Product ID- 24772)if you want to direct wire this into a switch.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DYIer Bright light, linkable, average cost
These lights are bright, yet not the blue-white you might expect for an LED product. Personally, I was relieved NOT to see that unnatural bright, blue-white light. They emit a bright but soft amber light. I had them installed under each cabinet in my new kitchen and I can navigate the room as well as do food prep without the overhead light. They are linkable and so you do have the extra linking cable to somehow conceal as they make their way along the underside of your cabinets. My electrician was able to bundle and secure the extra cable into the small crevice left between each cabinet on the underside, so no extra cable is visible. Overall I am very pleased with the results. The cost of the product was high. I'm told that is the norm with LED lighting. The outlay up-front is high, but the money is recouped on your electric bill because the lights are very energy efficient. They also run very cool - no sense of extra heat in the kitchen even when they've been on for hours.
