The Unit says it is on but the two outside lights are NOT?

The unit has been working great. For some reason this week the Unit will not turn the lights on whether the Timer is set to turn-on or that I tried manually to turn them on. However the Unit says the lights are on. Any suggestions that I can try?? Thinking about buying another unit. Thanks

Most likely the switch is bad, but try and reset the program, turn it on-off (slider at the bottom) and reprogram. Hopefully it will solve it.

After installation, once the lights are supposed to go off, what happens is that the bulbs keep rapidly blinking

I installed. Attached, first, one wiring to it, handling two lights at my garage area. I noticed that once in a while the bulbs were kind of blinking. I thought it was something wrong with the grounding. I redid the wiring to make sure the grounding was tight. Added a light to the switch. And now the lights keep blinking when they are supposed to be off. Thanks for any hint!

15 Amp 7-Day In-Wall Programmable Digital Timer is rated 1.9 out of 5 by 99.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke after about one year Like many have said, a poor product that does not last very long. Switches should last decades... This one just stopped working after about a year or so. I would not buy it again, ever.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only lasted a couple years Died after 2-3 years. Though it seems like I had better luck than most people who bought this judging from the other reviews.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Product worked great but only lasted about 15 months. This product looks great and worked like I expected. The problem is, the last one I purchased (different brand) worked for years. This one only lasted roughly 15 months. It just stopped working. I can't even use the manual override. I need to replace this timer but will steer clear of this brand/model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Oh no, not again Bought 3 for the house. They work nicely---until they don't. 100% failure rate within 12-18 months. Not to mention that the microscopic display finally made me cave in and get reading glasses. The third switch just failed. Yipee, more work to do tonight.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Two of them failed within a month after 18 months I had two of these fail the same way others described and required a new switch to even turn on the lights. I do not recommend to anyone unless you are okay buying new switches on a regular basis and handy with electricity.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective design - mfr is not remediating - strongly recommend not buying I strongly recommend not buying this timer. Like many other reviewers my experience was that the timer would forget its entire program every few days and/or switch the lights on and off at random times. I contacted Jasco who told me that the problem was not in the timer. Rather their claim was that there was electrical noise and instability in my house wiring and that the timer would not be suitable for use in my location. They indicated that these claimed wiring problems were somehow "extreme" or rare. Three things are worth noting: 1) the Jasco correspondent admitted they receive a large number of complaints about the instability issue with this unit. Simple searching shows that there are also abundant complaints posted at various sites on the web. 2) in my house I run all-digital sprinkler timers, laptops, and many other devices which could be considered sensitive, without needing surge suppressors, etc, and in more than 3 years have never had even a single problem with any other device. My wiring was also thoroughly inspected by a professional electrician before I bought the house and nothing was found wrong. 3) I am an electronic engineer and have successfully solved many actual or potential electric line interference problems - it is almost always very easy to do with just a few components and/or proper grounding. The company provides no warning on its packaging or instructions about instability. Although I was offered a refund if I could produce my sales receipt, they indicated that they intend to continue selling this product as it is. I was roped into buying this unit because it was advertised as being suitable for fluorescent lighting. The manufacturer should immediately discontinue, recall and redesign this device. It is simply not right to continue to lasso new customers into wasting their time, effort and money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lasted less than 12 months I bought 2, one for my front door light and one for my light by the driveway. The switch for the front door is located inside the house and is doing fine. But the other switch is located in the garage and didn't last very long. I think the heat from the garaged didn't help.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid this product I purchased this product to install in a commercial building to control 8-13watt cfl around the buildings porch area. The programming is easy but the 1st one failed in less than a week. The replacement I installed failed in less than a day. I replaced that one and that one too failed in less than a week. I removed this item and I am going to install a real timer. If you are a professional in the trade do not purchase this item and waste loads of time doing warranty calls.
