Unchanged from 15 years ago, except for moving mounting holes just enough so that I couldn't use the old unit's mounting.

I bought this light for under my cabinets in the kitchen. My work area is rather dark without it., since my old (probably 40 year s, florescent) one died. I couldn''t use the screws to hang it since the shelf was too thin. I ordered industrial strength (so they say) velcro strips, on Amazon, and used 4 sets of the 10 in the package to hand this. It worked perfectly. I used this picture when reviewing the velcro strips. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I was replacing a 20 year old "under the counter" light. I had my doubts that I would locate another light with the same dimensions that also used the same bulb (I had several un-used replacement bulbs). But this light did the trick! Very pleased

All under counter lights require some difficulty installing , best to have a drill & scredriver

I needed additional light in the living room but had no room for another floor lamp. This light strip was placed on top of a secretary and when on, it illuminates the room.

but it is annoying. Otherwise I agree with the good reivews. I have these under my kitchen cabinets - a few different lengths. The problem is removing the plastic to replace the bulbs (not done often because, yes, they last a long time!) is not easy and the plastic frequently cracks. It's annoying they would not make this a little better quality so that this doesn't happen. After they were 1st installed I noticed one crack, being a bit annoyed at the guy who installed them. But now i realize it's easy to crack them. I have a couple with small cracks that don't really affect the light and don't show, so I have left them alone. But now one is broken and not usable and I need to replace it. I hope I can replace the plastic piece without replacing the entire unit. I put yes, I'd recommend for mostly Pros....some I don't know about, I did not install myself.
