Answer:
You have to plug it into your outlet. The best thing is you can add more strips that connect to each other and only have one plug.

This fixture is linkable. That means that it can be plugged-in to one outlet and up to 8 fixtures can be linked together from the original fixture. It can be direct wired using the junction box (494-469) sold separately.
Hope this helps.

Answer:
LEDs in general are not dimmable. Some LED fixtures are designed with circuitry that will turn off some LEDs in a cluster and leave others on to give the appearance of "dimming", but a single LED is either on or off.

Hello Mr Doitall,
Thank you for your question.
I did reach out to the manufacturer and below is their response:
These fixtures are not dimmable. They do emit a bright and high quality light but to make them dimmable would increase the cost substantially.
Hope this helps.

Where do I get connectors for daisy chaining?

This question is from 18 in. Premium Linkable LED Black/Stainless Steel Undercabinet Light

The LED lights do not come with a daisy chain cable and they need 2 and 3 pin connectors to daisy-chain fixtures. Are the connectors common and will an electrician know what they are and how to attach them? What would I ask for at an electrical supply store?

Answer:
My 24 inch version came with the daisy chain cable. Double check your box then take them back and have HD open another box to see if they come with the lights.

18 in. Premium Linkable LED Black/Stainless Steel Undercabinet Light is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice product, but overpriced Selected this product over others at HD and competitors due to thin style and light output (bright, but not too strong). Installation was easy with use of included template for locating mounting holes. 18" long link cord is a good length-- for future add-ons to adjacent cabinets. Reason for 4 stars: Price is at least $10 more than it should be-- I might not have purchased this one if not for the Home Depot gift card I used at checkout.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF LIGHT AND ITS WHITE I am very happy with the ease of install and SUPER happy with the actual light emitted -- have it over the sink great amount of white white light. Purchased a wall switch that plugs in the socket then the light plugs into that. Great night light using 3 watts. Seems close to a 75 watt incandescent bulb as far as how much light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Light Ever I've tried other lights, and they didn't last too long, or they didn't give off enough light. This one meets all that I was looking for, and it is also very easy to install. Anyone can do it, and will be happy with the bright light it gives off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice leds I have to agree about the price being to high. I put these under my new cabinets and really like them. I've bought 3 so far and have 5 to go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love these! Nice and Bright! I bought several of these for under my kitchen cabinets. It would be nice if there was an option to install them so one switch would turn them all on/off at once rather than individually since they're connected. Also - the connectors may not be long enough depending on where you want to install them. Still, they look fabulous and this was a great update that brightens up my dark countertops.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lights, much better than Pucks I have 3 18" and 2 12" strips in my kitchen. While I didn't install them, the contractor said it was an easy install. The light is great(warm, not blue) and the quality is typical of any China made product, BUT, GE backs them with a lifetime warranty. So, when/if they break/burnout, I suspect GE will still be around to replace them. Highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good light and works well Perfect under cabinet light. I only wish it was easier to manage/cut the long wires to connect additional lamps; you can cut them or you need to buy a new connector end - the tool and connector was $20.00 and thus only the good rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't find anymore I talked these a few years back in my kitchen and now want to install more in another. All Home Depot sells out of their box stores are the hideous white ones. Don't know what happened or how they dropped the ball on this.
