Hello - this is Nancy at GE and I am happy to help you. I'm sorry; however, this refrigerator does not accept an internal water filter. However, the good news is that you can easily add an In-Line Water Filter on the back of the refrigerator water line just before the water line goes into the refrigerator. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!

The water valve on most GE refrigerators is near the bottom of the back of the refrigerator. Some models have the valve on the right when viewing the refrigerator from the back, and some models have the valve on the left when viewing the refrigerator from the back.

Hi-this is Sue from GE. Thanks for your interest in our GE 20.2 cu. ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator in GDSS0KCXSS.
The height to the top of the case is actually 65 3/4". The height including the hinge on the top of the door is 66 1/2". We do not offer a two door bottom freezer model less than 66 1/2" including the hinge.
I hope this model will work for you. Thanks for checking with us.

20.2 cu. ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator in Stainless Steel is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 65.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from GE Refrigerator I just received this refrigerator yesterday, and I couldn't be happier. It is beautiful! Love the stainless steel finish with the "no finger print" option. I had a small space to fit and it fit perfectly thanks to the salesman @ Home Depot that helped me. It is well lit in the upper part of the refrigerator and has very wide drawers in the door. I love the clear glass so you can see right into the crispers. It is very roomy. The slide out freezer is smaller than I expected, but it works for a small family. It is lit also. One of the best features of this refrigerator is that it is so quiet I can hardly hear it run! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Fridge, but Freezer People Beware! The refrigerator part of this fridge/freezer combo is great. Plenty of space, adjustable shelving, and boy does it keep food cold! In fact, I have had to adjust the temperature up several times to make sure my food does not freeze in the refrigerator. I love all of the space on the door - the gallon-sized bins on the door keep virtually all of my condiments, milk, tea, and juice easily accessible, and they are adjustable as well to make room for wine and soda bottles. My fruits and veggies stay fresh longer in the bins than they used to in my old refrigerator. The finish is typical of other stainless products - you need to keep a stainless steel cleaner handy for fingerprints but that should not be a surprise. Now, the bad part! The freezer is TERRIBLE! Unfortunately, I did not actually see this model refrigerator before I bought it. I am used to a top freezer, and I guess I made the assumption that the bottom freezer would be the same as a top freezer, just on the bottom. Not the case. This model has a wire basket that is only about half as tall as the freezer to put the food in and it makes the freezer about half as functional as it would be if it were like a top freezer. Every time I buy frozen food I have to rearrange the freezer - and I mean, take almost everything out, reorganize, and put it back in again. And if the food is not in a box - for example, I freeze chicken breasts in baggies - the spaces between the wires in the basket are so large that sometimes things fall through! And we don't buy that much frozen food! It's not like I'm hoarding meat and boxed lasagnas! We are a family of 3! Overall, this fridge is 1000x better than what I traded in, and it matches the rest of my awesome GE appliances. However, I am saddened at the freezer situation, but will deal with it by buying less frozen food. Shame on me for not making sure to SEE what I was buying before I bought it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great fridge for a kitchen with limited space ! We needed a fridge that fit into our tight space. This was the nicest and largest. The stainless steel front is beautiful. The gray sides add to the rich look. It runs very quiet and less often than our older GE. The top fridge section is designed very well. The glass shelves are easy adjustable. The lighting is bright. The shelves on the door are very deep, adjustable and hold a very large amount of items. Plenty of space. The freezer is somewhat smaller than expected, but one must organize and stack items not just drop stuff in. The freezer makes ice in no time. It also has a very bright light so finding things are a snap. We have had it about a month now and we are very pleased so far. This is a beautiful practical SS fridge without all the fancy in door features, yet it does the job and doesn't look cheap.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from refrigerator/freezer I have had 4 GE refrigerators with bottom freezers since 1974 and have always been pleased with them. Currently, I made the mistake of not researching the freezer section of my new GE fridge because I have always trusted and relied on GE appliances. The freezer holds approximately 1/2 the amount of my last GE refrigerator. I am extremely disappointed in this new freezer design. The refrigerator, itself, works very well and holds a large amount of food. I would very much like to know if GE makes a divider or baskets for the freezer that would help to organize it better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good appliance So far have been very happy with this refrigerator, plenty of space (moved up from 18.5 cuft) very good lighting, quiet, lots of storage in the door. Bottom freezer has more room than appears at first. Well lit also. A little disappointed in the color match on the sides, stainless steel front, the gray paint on sides is a little dark, but a minor point. Stands out more when sides are exposed. Delivery and "take away" service was excellent!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Glitch in design causing food in refrigerator to freeze We were quite happy with this unit when we first took delivery, but within days it was apparent that food items placed on the bottom shelf, particularly in the back of the refrigerator, were freezing. We had the setting for both refrigerator and freezer at 5, as recommended. The repair team determined that the seal at the back of the refrigerator, separating the freezer compartment, needed to be reinforced to prevent the freezing air from spilling into the lower part of the refrigerator. We opted to have the unit replaced. The second unit froze food in the same way, and we are returning it and going to a different brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome refridgerator, we love it. We have had the fridge for about a year now. It is great. The freezer seemed a little small by the looks at first, but we were amazed the amountt of food that fit into it. A lot of people complained about the loud ice maker, so we were expecting it to be loud. It was definitely not as loud as stated in others. Very happy with this fridge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 20.2 Cu. Ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator I bought this refrigerator / freezer for the following reasons: 1) minimize overall space requirement, 2) maximize access to refrigerator without bending down, 3) slide-out freezer, and 4) energy efficiency. It fully satisfies these objectives, and I would highly recommend this refrigerator / freezer to anyone looking for same features. In additionan, a comparsion of external to internal volume shows that this refrigerator / freezer is more compact than other units in the same class.
