Customer Questions & Answers

Is the bottom drawer actually a pull out drawer?

Asked by: Anonymous
NO. Truly disappointed. Tiny kitchens which use this size stove need that storage!

Does this oven accommodate a standard size cookie sheet?

Asked by: melissa
Hi Melissa- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for your interest! While cookie sheets vary, the oven interior is 20" Wide x 16 1/4" Deep. When baking with multiple pans and on multiple racks, ensure there is at least 1 1/2" between pans to allow sufficient space for air to flow. We hope this helps. Thanks for checking with us!

What is an ADA Compliant Range?

Asked by: Mik
Hello Mik - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. To be considered ADA compliant, a GE range must meet the following requirements: Maximum high forward reach for controls and operating mechanisms is 48"; maximum low forward reach is 15". Controls and operating mechanisms must be operable with one hand and shall not require tight grasping, pinching or twisting of the wrist. The force required to activate controls shall be no more than 5 lbs. If ovens or cooktops have knee spaces underneath then they shall be insulated or otherwise protected on the exposed surfaces to prevent burns, abrasions, or electrical shock. The location of controls for ranges and cooktops shall not require reaching across burners. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!

Customer Reviews

24 in. 3.0 cu. ft. Electric Range in Stainless Steel is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average We purchased a small appliance due to the size of our kitchen. I am pleased with the overall performance of the stove. I can't help but wish that it had a stove light and glass door. I am a tall woman, I feel that the stove is a little short. Just because it is small doesn't mean it has to be on the short side. Does it? Personally I don't care for where the knobs are but are getting used to it. I would have preferred them to be up top. I find myself turning them on when I bump into the stove or while wiping it down. I realize that there was one more option in the small stove that would have given me the bells and whistles so to speak. But it was quite a bit more expensive.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Only so so value Bought the range expecting a bottom drawer that it does not have. Otherwise it works OK but seems a bit pricey for a 24 inch range compared to wider models and prices.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not satisfied. Really, extremely not happy that this did not come in the basic white which force me to go black/stainless all the way around. One rack inside was oversized and scraped the sides going in and out. Ordered one through the warrantee dept. but still a pain on top of the did I say extremely unhappy about not having the white. Lastly, not having the drawer underneath for broiler pans was the epitome of being cheap and cutting corners. Did I mention about being really dissatisfied with GE about your not having white for the model. I assume this review will not get to the top management and will no change will be made but there is an element of getting it off my chest. Does not change the fact that I will be looking at a kitchen that I am not really satisfied with for the life of these appliances. I could have gone with another brand but stuck to the GE name to my regret. Thanks for the opportunity to share my grief. Fyi the refrigerator that I bought has continual condensation around the seal of the freezer dripping down to the lower portion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks good, but could stand some improvement. Got this stove about a month ago and while I am pleased with it's style and size, it could stand some improvements. The dials on the stove have no directional indicator color on them. The dials contour to a subtle point but there is not a color (silver maybe?) painted on top of them for easy visual reference as to where the dial is pointed. I have almost burned a couple of meals because of this, (difficult to see where the indicator is pointed in low light situations such as daytime with out overhead lighting turned on). The oven is a little on the fast side so watch your cookies and cakes for premature doneness! Overall it's a nice stove for a kitchen with limited space ie; a Tiny House or post WWII mill house, but if I were buying for say my senior parents I would hesitate as the knobs are difficult to read settings on. It boils water very quickly which is great, but the stainless steel is difficult to keep and clean, I still haven't figured out how to do this without harming the stainless panels. If anyone has suggestions please post to GE's website!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Value. Not Top Quality. Disappointed that the Bottom is not a drawer. Overall quality is simply fair--Decorative strip was loose upon delivery.
