Although the range is beautiful I was very disappointed at the broiler. It is not a drawer. It is a door that you open and than have to pull out a rack with a very small broiler pan about 8 to 13 inches in size. The rack that the broiler sits on has 6 large openings and the broiler pan sits at the front in only 1 of these. The rest of the rack is a waste as the openings are too large to even rest anything on. After you pull the rack out as far as it will go , and be careful because if you pull it out too far it will tilt over and spill anything on the broiler, you have little room for checking what you are cooking and little room to remove what you cooked. I looked at the GE site and the extra large broiling pan that is described as coming with this product does not fit in a 24 inch range. There is a large one available and maybe they packed the wrong one when they sent mine so I am checking this out. When I first saw this broiler pan I thought " oh , what a nice lilttle gift" not realizing this was a part of the stove. If I had to make a large chuck steak it will definitely have over this little broiler pan.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JohnAmyNYC Great stove for a small kitchen
We purchase this product two months ago and everything is great about it. We live in NYC in a small apartment with a small kitchen and the model is perfect for the space. It has all the features we required and the correct size.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by VitaminP GE does not support or supply parts for this item
I bought this range three months ago. The ignition system continuously makes a clicking noise every 15 minutes or so. I scheduled a repair with GE. The repair technician showed up and confirmed the range ignition switches have failed. He said he would replace them all and it should not be problem thereafter. I had to schedule another day off to meet him the following Monday when the parts came in. Two hours later I received a call from GE saying they NO LONGER HAVE THE PARTS IN STOCK AND NO LONGER MANUFACTURE THE PARTS! This is very weird because they still manufacture and sell the stove. They have no comps available and can only offer me a buy back. I will need to remodel my kitchen if I get a different stove.
I would understand this if the stove were ten or twenty years old but it is brand new. Why are they selling a stove they offer no service or support for?!?!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by bcg21 Poorly made product
I bought this stove less than 4 years ago. Since then the thermostat and both burners have needed to be replaced. This is a very poor product.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DIYplumber widest burner spacing for a 24"
I agree with some of the other reviewers that the broiler is not all it could be, but you can go out and buy a half-sheet and that at least solves the pan size issue. And I can't comment on the service/parts complaints because mine worked fine from the beginning. The main reason I got this stove is because it (and the equivalent Hotpoint stove) has the widest set burners of any 24" I've looked at. That means you can put 4 12" pots/pans on top, and the burner is close to the center of each. That was the deciding factor for me, and so while I could afford a more expensive, nicer-looking stove, the fact that this one was relatively inexpensive compels me to rate it an excellent value. Finally, I can say that cleaning my sisters stove is not any easier, and she has a *really* expensive home model made by a company that makes restaurant stoves, so I wonder what the value of sealed burners is, except that they look cool.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Chuckie6615 good range. High price
i purchased the range special order through lowes. The appearance is great, function seems good, but it has no clock, no oven light, and the price is very high wherever you look. The price seems, unfortunately, related to the size. Smaller range, higher price.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by little Rounded front oven door is cute
ive waited afew months time to save up for this stove im surprized how good it really cooks ive used the oven every day so far food has come out good tasteing and evenly cooked .iwish i had the money for convection but im happy with my results you don,t need convection with most food.the open bruners iguess would be very nofrills oldschool type. but openbruners seem to cook nice. yes it has enough gas output to boilwater and cook. most people won,t cook with full range gas anyway. ive used the broiler to toast bread its pan is small butit works fine ive had food from much more expansive stoves this one still cooks better.
