CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked For Me Wanted a nightlight that was significantly brighter than the cheap (permanently installed LED) nightlights. The light color is good being just a bit whiter than incandescent. The output is decent and at .5W power consumption is low. I compared this bulb side by side to a 4W incandescent and this LED is just a bit dimmer so I'd say 2-3W equivalent is pretty accurate. However the overall useful amount of light in the room is similar plus these bulbs way outperform the low quality LED nightlights they replaced. A little pricey when you consider the bulb plus a nightlight will cost around $5ea compared to about half that for the cheap ones that get dimmer and become useless with age. July 21, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Night light LED It was a little dimmer than I expected. But my daughter was happy her night was working again, so thats the important thing! It will definitely beat the incandescent bulbs that came with the night light on life and brightness thats for sure. July 28, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by do not buy this The light is so dim it is worthless. Less than the light of a small candle. I am returning it.. August 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good light while saving money Performance: these clear LED bulbs are not quite as bright as the 4W clear nightlight bulbs they replace, but almost: estimate about 75% as bright, and the light is pleasing. The 4W clear bulbs in a naked fixture, without a cover, could be pretty piercing in a dark room. Economy: with my current energy cost, for a nightlight in a dark space that burned 24 hours a day, it cost roughly $10 per year to run with a 4W bulb--not a lot, but I had six of them around the house. Replacing with a 0.5W bulb cuts the cost to one-eighth, or a little over $1 per year for continuous running. Each bulb costs about $2.50 so they pay for themselves in a few months. Recommendation: these bulbs are excellent value, and the more nightlights you have, the more you save. If I were to purchase again, I would look for the white frosted version (I have seen these in other stores) as the light seems more diffuse with better coverage than the clear. I do not know the model number but I suspect that Home Depot would offer them too. April 19, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Light; Not Same Sized as Bulbs They Replace These bulbs produce more light than the C-7 bulbs they replace. They are larger - longer - so they won't fit in the same places the others will. About the same price as normal bulbs so you can't go wrong with these. According to the literature they should last virtually forever. I am replacing all my heat producing bulbs with these or other brands. These have a 'whiter light' then others I've found. HIghly recommend but wish they were shorter... January 15, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Led night light The light was not as bright as a normal night light and it directed the light up and not in all directions. April 22, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by White Light These bulbs produce a whiter light than the older style bulbs which have a warmer, more yellow light. We use them in window candles and in that application, a warmer light may be preferable. Although they are advertised to last 12,000 hours, past experience suggests the newer energy-efficient bulbs don't last any longer than traditional bulbs. March 15, 2013
