Wish they had stopped making this washer a little sooner so I wouldn't have to deal with it every day. It doesn't fill with enough water to get my clothes clean no matter what fill level its on. I keep it on Super all the time now and only do half loads or if I do a full load I fill it with extra water from a hose. (To the top of the inside tub is 19" but it will only fill to 13 1/2" with clothes.) See picture. My whites are getting grayer every week so I'm wondering just how dirty the jeans are. We live on a farm and get our clothes very dirty. Isn't it logical that clothes need water to transmit the dirt out of the clothes? Whoever dreamed this machine up must never have had to clean really dirty clothes. I hate this machine.

I purchased this product last year because my Maytag washer of 30 years stop working. I've had other GE products before so I purchased this only because of the brand name. I normally read about the pros and cons of appliances before purchasing them. My fault because I didn't do my homework this time. I am so sorry that I purchased this washer, the water level does not fill to its full capacity. I have to set it on super just to get enough water to wash a large load of clothes and it'snot really a full load. When I wash towels they have to washed twice just to get all the soap out of them. And as far as this being and energy saver I have NEVER had my clothes take as long to wash as this washer does. 1 hour to wash one load of clothes no matter what setting. No wonder it was discontinued,!!!

I bought this washer for the size . We have a pool and we wash a lot of towels what I didn't expect is the fact that it doesn't have a deep fill for washing. It has a deep rinse. This washer is the most dissapppinting appliance I ever bought. A washer should fill with sufficient water or at least give you options. 14 inches of water is not a lot for a max load. I find myself washing mire loads with less water and it takes me twice as long to wash clothes. If you want a lot of water to wash clothes and have bigger loads this is not the washer for you.

I understand this is a High Efficiency washer. But, thought the water level would at least be up to the first rung of the agitator when Maximum Load Level was selected. I don't know how the clothes manage to get clean being below the agitator rungs. I usually have to fill the washer twice once to get the clothes wet, then stop it, then start it again, and the washer drains prior to filling again. At this point I add my detergent so I can wash the clothes. Tried washing a comforter once and had to wash it twice as the top part never got washed. Turned it over and washed it a second time.

We bought this washer to replace our other GE washer in 2015. We've had nothing but problems with it. 5 service calls and still same issues. The clothing is always dripping wet and water on bottom. We've even ran clothing through 3 additional drain/spin cycles and everything is still soaked. I don't recommend this washer to anyone.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Pwew I do not like it at all.
The tub is so deep that I can not reach the bottom. It will only fill 1/2 way with water no matter what you try to do. If you change your mind about the setting after the water begins filling, it will emply and start all over. I do not like this machine at all!! It must have been designed by someone who has no idea whatsoever what a washing machine should do.
