2-month review-Everything you need in one fridge, through door water and ice, lots of freezer room pull out freezer draw is nice, and the ice maker doesnt have the bulky box in the fridge, the lights are bright and well done. Only complaint is those self fill k-cups dont work with gizmo you place the cups in. Overall pretty perfect unit, does all we need and was a great price.

We purchased this beverage cooler for our previous home to cool red wine. We were very satisfied well enough to make two units the centerpiece of a basement bar build. I use one for red wine and one for beer and white wine. I'd prefer the beer side to cool to 40F but it does get to and hold at 44.

Home Depot delivery came exactly when they said they would and set it up perfectly. My previous wine fridge was a Whynter with metal racks, and had some difficulty fitting in larger wine bottles. I like the wood racks on this model, they are good quality and have plenty of room. Haven't had any problems with keeping door closed as mentioned in some other posts. Cools well and is pretty quiet.

I bought this as a back-up fridge for my kitchen remodel to account for kids drinks and miscellaneous items. I find that the space allows for both items for the children as well as my own beverages. Fridge keeps everything at a cool 41 degrees and is easy to get into.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by chainsawman Shelves fall down when pulled out
We purchased this cooler to replace a Whirlpool wine cellar that quit working. It is very quiet while operating and maintains temperature well. While prepping it for powering up, we noticed that the shelves fall down when pulled out (with door completely open). Nothing in the owner's manual indicated that we had installed the shelves wrong but this seems to be a major flaw in the product. If you have smaller bottles or cans at the back of a shelf and you want to see them, you need to slide the shelf out. As soon as the shelf slides out more than an inch or 2, it completely falls out of the track. This does not happen unless the door is all the way open. Again, the owner's manual does not indicate that shelves should not be operated with door completely open. For example, the 2nd shelf from the top is 15.75 inches wide at the front and 15 inches wide at the back. All shelves are similarly tapered front to back. While this allows the shelf to slide easily, it is too narrow in the back which causes the shelf to fall out of the track. We did not experience this with our Whirlpool unit. For now we will use the shelves carefully and caution houseguests to do the same, or else we're going to have broken bottles of wine in the cooler. GE, please let us know if there's something we're overlooking or if we have defective shelves? Other than this issue, we feel it is a great unit for a great price.
