We have several hundred in our building, we are going on years of operation. we have a high use of dryers in our units, as we do student housing; we have found that in this use they are a very high maintenance demand. The manual states to clean the Condenser monthly, that is not feasable due to manpower. we would have to hire one person to solely do this. we currently have to clean about eight a day right now just to keep up with the service calls.
That said, if this was in a small home/apt with normal use it is a good product, there are others that dont use the condenser that clogs with lint that we have that we have not had the service issues. Would I buy one? if it was my only option, I probably would due to the quality of the equipment. Just be aware that you will have to clean that condenser on a regular basis.

We bought this to replace another ventless. We could not have been happier because this machine is very quiet. The Sensor Dry is very good, and absolutely fantastic. The clothes do take longer to dry compared to a vent dryer, but if your place doesn't have a vent, then this machine is highly recommended.

I live in a condo where I don't have a vent. Despite that, the builder put a dryer when they built the condo, the dryer used to exhaust into my hallway + living room. Anytime I was drying, the air was unbearable, there was a lot of humidity that warped my wooden floors, and there was a lot of lint and dust in the air that didn't help my allergies and asthma.
The GE ventless / condenser dryer came to my rescue. I've had it for 3 weeks and immediately noticed the benefits. No more humidity - my AC doesn't have to take out gallons of water out of the air. There is also much less dust in the apartment. And my overall electricity bill went down.
If you compare it to a conventional dryer, it does take a little longer to dry clothes, but overall performance is excellent. My only feedback to GE would be to implement a memory setting ("My Cycle") which exists on their washer.
In a nutshell, I recommend it, especially if you need a ventless dryer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I think I am overall content with the product, however I had to have GE repair come out right away. The drum had to be replaced, there was a loud clicking noise. I had to spend 2 days from 1-5 stuck at my house for repair. I wasn't expecting to order a new product and need to take 2 1/2 days off from work to get it working properly:(

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by KR800 Only if you need ventless!!!!
If you need a ventless dryer, this is a good one. But if you can avoid ventless, do whatever is necessary to avoid it. It takes a long time to dry and you are always cleaning the lint filter and emptying the water reservoir. Otherwise, it's fine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
