I have wanted this range for a long while and I am so happy with it. Clean, stream lined appearance, and I love that the control nobs are in the front. Which by the way, the nobs are a very substantial, hefty material- not flimsy plastic. The controls for the oven, timer, etc are easy to use. The oven bakes at a true temp. The glass top is great- and I think the small to large burner is genius! In the past I had a GE gas stove that had a solid black glass top and the thing was an absolute nightmare to clean. The cooktop is also black, but with a subtle pattern to it. A quick clean with ceramabrite and a soft cloth buff and it is perfect. Very easy!
The only thing I would say I with GE would make a smudge resistant stainless steel:)

As it is a slide in oven. It would be nice if they were standardized in size to counter top and height. Had to have the granite counter top cut. Once this little tid bit was accomplished the stove sat high above the counter. Had to take off the plastic adjustors. Then it sat too low and had to place spacers underneath the bottom to lift up even to the countertop. The bottom rails did have areas to place the spacers. Has nothing to do with the oven itself. Engineers and designers. All in all, it wasn't that big of a deal. All Correctable. Now it's sitting pretty and works great. No complaints with the oven.

This product fit beautifully in my kitchen. Stovetop is easy to clean - even, consistent heat on burners, oven is very efficient and does not radiate heat into the kitchen.

Based on previous reviews I was concerned on what I was going to get.
I like everything about this unit.
The black top is not harder to clean unless you do not know how to read instructions.
Clean every time after you cook, simple.
I love the lock features to clean the pad. The bottom drawer is fine not flimsy like some reviews mentioned.

We bought this particular model for our kitchen remodel because of the color, and there was no space for a cooktop and a seperate oven. The slide in model also has a drawer underneath for baking pans.

Old stove old and no longer working. Looked at numerous products but this one fit and looked the best. Now that we have it, it works the best. Made in America, its got to be good.

I searched everywhere on the internet trying to find an oven without convection feature and finally found this GE range. It is the best oven I've EVER owned. I loved it from the get go. Easy to clean. Easy to operate. Has great features. Looks great. Does not heat up the kitchen like other ovens I've owned. GE really stepped up to the plate this time. I would recommend this to anyone.

I cannot believe anyone using this oven will give it any stars. It is by far the worst appliance I ever bought. I love cooking and have used many ovens in my life, this is by far the worst one.
To start with, there are so many design mistakes that make using the oven confusing and complicated. Here are only a few: (a) Two of the rings are too large for a small or medium pot, but too small for large pots. (b) The largest ring is in the front with the smallest behind it. If you have a large pot on, you cannot reach or see the small ring behind it, making it difficult to use. (c) The rings are too close to each other, making it difficult to use multiple rings. (d) The knobs and electronics used to be in the front, now they are in an angle. They cut a quarter of the top surface for this, pushing the rings to the back, which is ok if you are a tall person, but for most women it is too uncomfortable to reach the back rings. (E) It also takes away from the surface, which is now less useful. (f) It also means that with is design, you cannot see the clock unless you are next to the oven, so be prepared to buy a clock for your kitchen. (g) The knobs are large and their location on the slant means that they stick out above the surface. When taking a dish out of the oven you cannot slide it easily onto the surface, but have to lift it higher above the knobs. (H) I could go on....
To top it all, the rings take forever to heat up. Literally 10-15 min to bring a small pot to the boil. once heated, any settings except for the lowest will burn the dish. In the few months with this oven, I burned more dishes than in my entire life before.
The glass top seems to get spots and discoloration just from the heat. After a few uses it already looked worst than my old oven did after ten years.
This oven was a replacement for the same model that I had for many years. I thought I am getting the same oven, but unfortunately, only the color and model numbers are the same. This is a new design and is nowhere near the quality of the old design with same model number.
If you can, avoid this oven.
