How wide is the bar than goes between the stove & the wall for JSP39SNSS & JSS28DNWW

Our cutout is not to the wall but it is deeper than the recommended 23 & 3/16. Therefore we will need the bar to cover the extra space & overlap the granite. Could this be a problem?

Answer:
Not sure I fully understand the question, but I would plan on lots of trial and error (moving the stove in and out) before doing any cutting or adding a bar.
Watch that the stove top doesn't scratch the counter. We used some pieces of vinyl floor molding as a buffer between the two.

Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Love the cooktop for canning! I like my control knobs for the electric burners, but the oven has electronic touch controls and a fan when turned on. I am not use to the fan noise when using the oven or for cooling down after use. I am still learning how to use the oven temperature and timer without turning each one off accidentally. And I prefer not having electronics for the oven, the knobs are much easier. But it had the features I needed for canning, but not realizing the electronic oven with fan noise when I called around the town for the best price. May 6, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good! I bought this stove about 6 months ago. The oven fan is a bit loud but I'd rather have the fan than not. Overall cooking seems to be even. I haven't used the self cleaning oven option because Im a little nervous....you see, my last oven, 6 years old, stopped working after using the self cleaning 5 times. I tried replacing the heating element and it didn't rectify the situation. I'm wondering if the self cleaning overheated the mechanism. September 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Would buy again While space requirements entered into our original decisions, the GE was our first choice among those that met our requirements. August 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by slide in stove I bought this a month age and so far I like it so much better than the smooth top stove I had before May 23, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fit in the space I needed This was the range that would fit in the space properly, it works and looks good July 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good basic little stove with plus of self-cleaning oven. I like how the range is easy to clean. I haven't cleaned the oven yet, so cannot write about that feature. Otherwise, the range has been a delight to use after one problem was solved. The two small electric eyes did not fit down securely like the large ones. They rocked which caused pans of hot food to wobble dangerously. That was corrected by a service man who was here about something else. He was able to bend the frames enough that now they seat securely into their pans. I have used the oven twice for baking and both times have been pleased. I have not used the broiler, yet. This range does NOT have one feature that I greatly need: That is an electric convenience outlet on a timer for plugging in my slow-cooker/crock-pot that needs to be turned off at a certain time when I'm not here. So, if that is important to you, this is a red flag for your notice. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] August 31, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cleans like a charm! Love my stove. Self clean works very well. The drawer provides extra storage which I didn't have in my previous two stoves. May 13, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quality appliance. Easy installation. I like the updated look. One of the few appliance choices for the space I had in my kitchen. February 16, 2014
