Answer:
Yes. But this switch was designed for switching stereo audio and component video. Component video has 3 signals (Red, Green Blue), so each input has 5 jacks. Having said that, you could hook the yellow cable up to the component color of your choice (as long as you use the same color for the output), then hook the red and white stereo cables up and you're all set! You could also probably find a component video switcher for less money since it would only have 3 inputs instead of five and the colors would match your cables. Read Less

You indicate that you have both component and composite devices that you would like to connect with a switch. How you can accomplish this depends on the connections available on your TV. Ideally you would want to get a composite switch for those devices and connect that through the composite connection and a component switch for the component devices.
Hope this information helps. Read Less

Answer:
This switcher only passes through Red, Green, Blue video signals plus red and white audio. Yellow is the older type single video input. This switcher does not offer that option.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Does the job Before I purchased this product, I was trying to use an older AV switcher. I was constantly getting unstable video and finally tracked it down to the switch, so I was hopeful that this would solve that problem and it did. However, unlike the previous switch, this one does not come with the ability to label the four switches, so you just have to use your memory of what each switch position means. This is an oversight in my opinion and should have been included. Also annoying is the difficulty in telling which switch is active. You cannot really tell so you have to either get up to check it every time or just try to watch something and when it doesn't work, check the switch. Lucky for me, it stays in the same position most of the time. Otherwise, this product gets the job done and is reliable. February 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Product This switcher is mechanical rather than electronic so it's interference free and switches immediately. I read reviews of other electronic switchers. They frequently got bad reviews. One reviewer suggested this one. They were right. February 10, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works exactly the way I wanted Easy to connect and very easy to use. It arrived on time and was a quick pick up at the store. January 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Funcrtional legacy video switchbox Simple and worked well to connect our legacy players to our new TV. Could be better if it had higher quality switches on it, or a single switch rather than a radio-style toggle, but it was one of the few available products available to perform this function and is a decent price.
