Hi,
looking at different stoves and need to make sure I can use my Le Creuset pots. I see that it is not possible to use Cast Iron, which is very unfortunate, but just to make sure, Can you use Le Creuset pots and pans? They are cast iron pots/pans with a porcelain glaze.
Will pots with a copper bottom work?
Can you put Pillevuit porcelain forms or Pyrex glass forms on the warming spot?
Lastly, ScanPan frying pan and All Clad - will they work?
Thank you in advance for answering the questions.

Porcelain enamel on steel, glass-ceramic, or stoneware is not recommended. Cast iron is not recommended unless it is designed specifically for glass cooktops. Putting the pots on the warming spot should not be a problem. If you are in doubt about a certain type of cookware that you have, we recommend checking with the manufacturer of the cookware. Answer:
Porcelain Coated Cast Iron cookware is okay as long as the cookware is covered completely with porcelain enamel. Copper Bottom pans are also good, but they can leave residues on the cooktop that appear as scratches. Porcelain pans give good performance only if they have a thick, flat bottom. You can use ScanPan frying pan and All Clad if they are stainless steel, heavy-weight aluminum, carbon steel, or Read More

Hi Rose-this is Sue from GE Appliances. Cast Iron cookware is not recommended unless it is coated with porcelain enamel or designed specifically for glass cooktops. If the cookware has a burr or rough spot, it will scratch the glass surface. Additionally, it is slow to absorb heat. Once this type of cookware heats up, especially on high heat, it holds an intense amount of heat which is transferred to the cooktop. This can cause the element to shut down as a response to the temperature limiters which indicate surface temperature is too high for cooktop components to handle. Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 550 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great stove I've only had this a few weeks but so far like it. The flat top is so shiny it makes me want to upgrade my tea kettle I sit on it. I used the convection to bake 2 trays of cookies at the same time & it worked great. The timer lets you know a minute early its about to beep. January 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Can you love a stove? Yes, I love my stove. I love it heats quickly and cooks evenly. I also love the different size heating elements for the stovetop even using a large griddle, and also the convection oven is great for that BIG batch of cookies. September 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it! I love this product! I knew exactly what I wanted to host my big family for Thanksgiving and this was it. The warming zone is great; the bridge zone for the burners on the left was perfect for making gravy right in the roasting pan like Mom used to; the convection oven made the perfect bird, although it seemed to take a little longer than we thought it would; and the three racks in the oven were perfect for reheating all of the casseroles my inlaws brought. I really am happy we got this in time for the holidays!! December 10, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Buyer's Remorse On the plus side, it's nice looking and the burners and oven heat up fairly quickly. But most of the features I specifically wanted in this stove have disappointed.. The convection oven bakes cookies unevenly - the pans need to be rotated front to back and switched from top to bottom half way through. I haven't used the convection oven much and found the directions incomplete. The one burner with three sizes is unnecessary and a little confusing - you really have to pay strict attention to what you're doing. The steam clean feature did a very poor job of cleaning - maybe I did something wrong.. My main complaint is that the burners cook everything so hard, even on low. I've had it for four months now, and still haven't learned my lesson on that. Also, as others have said, the top is hard to clean without streaks. I've just gotten a lot less fussy about it. I thought it would be nice to have three racks for baking Thanksgiving dinners, but once your turkey roaster is in there, you only have room for one more rack anyway. I was scared to try my turkey with the convection feature. Will practice some day with that, too. I wish I had bought a simpler, less expensive oven. February 12, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by New White GE Range Storage drawer under range a bit flimsy. Oven had some smells the first time used.. The timer only works in full minutes until the last minute. So you can't set it for 1.5 minutes. For the price, the feature set was excellent. Had it for only 1 month so ask again in a year. January 13, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good. So far so good - we've only had the range/oven for a couple of weeks and my wife hasn't done much baking, but the look of the unit coordinates very well with the other appliances and is very easy to clean. One irritation I had with Home Depot was the fact that the unit comes without an electric cord - POW they hit you for a cord, or leave without connecting (I guess) - they also wouldn't connect the cord from the existing stove. I really didn't appreciate that. October 21, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Learning Curve Have not had success using the convection oven. Directions for using bridge cook top not included in manual that came with the stove April 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Great product. easy to use. Can't tell any difference in the final outcome between bake and convection. December 17, 2014
