Hi,
looking at different stoves and need to make sure I can use my Le Creuset pots. I see that it is not possible to use Cast Iron, which is very unfortunate, but just to make sure, Can you use Le Creuset pots and pans? They are cast iron pots/pans with a porcelain glaze.
Will pots with a copper bottom work?
Can you put Pillevuit porcelain forms or Pyrex glass forms on the warming spot?
Lastly, ScanPan frying pan and All Clad - will they work?
Thank you in advance for answering the questions.

Porcelain enamel on steel, glass-ceramic, or stoneware is not recommended. Cast iron is not recommended unless it is designed specifically for glass cooktops. Putting the pots on the warming spot should not be a problem. If you are in doubt about a certain type of cookware that you have, we recommend checking with the manufacturer of the cookware. Porcelain Coated Cast Iron cookware is okay as long as the cookware is covered completely with porcelain enamel. Copper Bottom pans are also good, but they can leave residues on the cooktop that appear as scratches. Porcelain pans give good performance only if they have a thick, flat bottom. You can use ScanPan frying pan and All Clad if they are stainless steel, heavy-weight aluminum, carbon steel, or Read More

Hi Rose-this is Sue from GE Appliances. Cast Iron cookware is not recommended unless it is coated with porcelain enamel or designed specifically for glass cooktops. If the cookware has a burr or rough spot, it will scratch the glass surface. Additionally, it is slow to absorb heat. Once this type of cookware heats up, especially on high heat, it holds an intense amount of heat which is transferred to the cooktop. This can cause the element to shut down as a response to the temperature limiters which indicate surface temperature is too high for cooktop components to handle. Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 388 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it! I love this product! I knew exactly what I wanted to host my big family for Thanksgiving and this was it. The warming zone is great; the bridge zone for the burners on the left was perfect for making gravy right in the roasting pan like Mom used to; the convection oven made the perfect bird, although it seemed to take a little longer than we thought it would; and the three racks in the oven were perfect for reheating all of the casseroles my inlaws brought. I really am happy we got this in time for the holidays!! December 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good. So far so good - we've only had the range/oven for a couple of weeks and my wife hasn't done much baking, but the look of the unit coordinates very well with the other appliances and is very easy to clean. One irritation I had with Home Depot was the fact that the unit comes without an electric cord - POW they hit you for a cord, or leave without connecting (I guess) - they also wouldn't connect the cord from the existing stove. I really didn't appreciate that. October 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by True Convection Purchased this stove a few months ago and I'm so glad I did! Convection cooking is the best way to cook foods! June 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great stove I've only had this a few weeks but so far like it. The flat top is so shiny it makes me want to upgrade my tea kettle I sit on it. I used the convection to bake 2 trays of cookies at the same time & it worked great. The timer lets you know a minute early its about to beep. January 28, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by this stove stinkss the cook op is a nightmare. it scratches so easy. i have to lift the pots. i can't slide them. i thought a glass top was very durable. and the black sides around the cook top scratches even quicker. the light indicator for the cook top when its hot keeps sliding . 4 times the repair came and they can't seem to get it right. the wires connecting this light is to short.i would NEVER buy this stove again. February 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value! We replaced the range that originally came with our home. I knew I wanted features to include a smooth glass top and convection oven. This range has those features and much more. The two burners on the left side of the stove are designed to accommodate a stove-top griddle that extends across both burners. This is the only range I found that does so. The oven performs beautifully. I am able to cook homemade pizzas on all three racks to perfection due to the convection feature. This range offers many features at a value price. I don't think you'll be disappointed in this range! March 15, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by like the cook top with many burners was in a house we purchased, new, convection oven? gotta learn to use that, never had one May 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Consumer Reports Best Choice! We have been using this range for about a month. Consumer reports rated it over all best in all categories tested. They were spot on about their findings. We love how it performs on the cook top surface as well as the oven function. We have not used the self clean feature but consumer reports says it was rated best. I believe them ! Two thumbs up !!!! April 24, 2016
