Answer:
Hello LR-
I will be happy to help set the clock.
Press and hold the 9, 0 pads for three seconds. You need to have equal pressure on the 9 and 0, so using your thumbs may help. When Clock flashes enter the Time and then press start. I hope this helps.

Hi Leon,
Convection is an optional feature you can turn on or off. Its purpose is circulate the air in the oven while the food is cooking, this speeds up the cooking process.

Customer Reviews

5.3 cu. ft. Electric Range with Self-Cleaning Oven and Convection in Stainless is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 207.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase This was a replacement stove for us after a month without one. Although we had to wait a few weeks after delivery to use it (electrical line needed replacing as well, thanks new house), since we've gotten it up and running, I have no complaints. The choice of burner sizes is very convenient. I've made some wonderful things with the oven, keeping in mind it's convection, so checking it a little earlier. Cakes, brownies, and enchiladas all came out perfect. Stovetop cleans up nicely. When reading reviews, people complained about "clicking" as elements turned on and off, this is minimal, I wouldn't have even noticed if it hadn't been noted. The only annoyance (not really a problem) is that it beeps at you if you keep the oven door open too long, so just sticking a toothpick into my brownies, it got impatient, lol. Haven't yet checked if I can at least mute it. Otherwise VERY happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value for the Money The stove was reasonably priced and had all the features we were looking for. Two of the burners can be adjusted to heat the size pan you are using. Great value for the price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this stove! I've had this stove for approximately 3 weeks. The burners heat up fast. I love the option of heating the entire large burner or a smaller ring for small pots on the same burner. The oven works great, and I have baked bread, cakes, biscotti, etc. with great success. I bought this stove blind - no reviews were available. I don't regret my decision at all.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Avoid GE range and customer service We really disliked this product from very first uses, however, could not return it so, we put up with it. The burners have very uneven heating and take a long time to heat up. None of that is as bad as trying to get service. We purchased the range in August 2014 and in March 2015 it stopped working - in the middle of preparing dinner. I spent an hour trying to get maintenance and will now have to wait 1 week (including a weekend), for anyone to come out. We usually cook at home for our family of 4 so, this is extremely inconvenient. I wish I could just have them collect it and start over with another brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value I did a lot of research before purchasing a new range and I am thrilled with this one. I wanted a convection oven with 3 racks and since this came with 3 racks, I did not have to purchase any extra. My first test of the convection came when I cooked 3 sheets of monster cookies at the same time. All the cookies cooked evenly! My old oven was so bad that I could only use 1 cookie sheet at a time. I use regular baking for most things, including pizzas, and those have also turned out well. This oven also preheats much more quickly because it uses the convection fan during preheat. I do also like the Power Boil surface. Even though Power Boil is only labeled for the 9" element, I feel that the 6" element also heats very quickly. Using a tea kettle on the Power Boil element boils the water faster than in our microwave. Some people have complained about keeping the smooth surface clean, but I have had no problem using CeraBryte and the little scrubbing sponge that comes with it. I ended up choosing black rather than the stainless steel because my range is exposed on all sides and the stainless steel option had black sides with a silver front. I thought it looked odd from the side, but you would not see that if it was between cabinets. I was not warned that the installers would have to drill a hole in my kitchen floor. If I had not allowed them to do that, they would not have plugged in the unit and tested it before leaving. They need the oven to be anchored to the floor to prevent tipping if someone stands on the open door! The installers were fast and professional.
