Hello Yo - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. GE does not package the power cord with electric free-standing and slide-in ranges. This practice was eliminated several years ago since it is not possible to determine the type of facilities each consumer has available or what the local electrical codes require. Hi Leon,
Convection is an optional feature you can turn on or off. Its purpose is circulate the air in the oven while the food is cooking, this speeds up the cooking process.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 175 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great features Cooks foods evenly and quickly. Replaced our 25 year old GE range. July 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great price So far very good oven, easy to hook up, cooks very fast , in half the time. Takes a little getting used to. I use it to make bread and it will bake in 25 min not 40. You have to watch the fan, it will burn food if to hot. I had to play with Temps until I figured it out. The back of the handle gets a little too hot. Had to get used to that. Seems OK now, I think the seal had to wear in a little . April 6, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice double burner range We have this range now for about 2 months. I Love the oven. I like the double burner feature. But the burner knobs are to confusing, They aren't consistent with other knobs. The back burners can only take small pots, If the small pot is to tall then it hits the control panel and offsets the pots. This is frustrating when you have a small pan put that is too tall. To Set the clock, don't look in the manual, call for help, it's not in the manual. You must hit 9 & 0 at same time.. It doesn't tell you. Also it doesn't have a red light indicating that a burner is still on even after you think you turned off or forgot to turn off all burns. November 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice stove top, oven combo. Attractive stove top, oven combination has many great features such as self cleaning & steam cleaning. Glass cook top looks very nice in my newly remodeled kitchen and provides options to cook with large, medium and small pots and pans by selection from the front panel control board. Very Nice product and I am happy with it. March 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Features Love all the features. It's a pain to clean the cooktop but the oven and stove top cook well. Looks nice also. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by love the conviction oven. love this range, heats quick & looks good in my kitchen. February 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product! I bought this a few months ago and love it and would recommend to anyone! January 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to use I bought this about 3 months ago. So far, it is very user friendly. I have not looked at the manual, but I have been able to figure everything out. I really like that two of the burners have different circles marked so that I can match it to my pan size. The oven does not preheat as quickly as the buzzer would indicate. I need to let it heat for about 10 more minutes to bring it up to the correct temp, but that isn't an issue since I always use a separate oven thermometer. This oven looks very nice and sleek in my kitchen. December 7, 2015
