Answer:
I could not find the 35 model, but we purchased the 28. One thing I can tell you about the 28 model is that it has 6 coils (elements) vs. the basic 4. What this translates into is a faster warm up time, a quicker recovery time after opening the door and more even baking. Well worth the extra money if your are going to do any baking!

Answer:
Hello,
This is Alison from GE.
The JBP35DMWW has the GE Calrod plug in burners. The JBP28DRWW will also have coiled plug in burners, however the difference is the number of turns and spacing on the element.
Another difference is that the JBP35DMWW has removable one-piece grey porcelain enameled drip bowls.
The JBP28DRWW has removable chrome one piece burner bowls.
I hope this helps.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible fumes - we still haven't used oven Two weeks later and we're still eating "ovenless" meals because we're not ready to endure those fumes again. Ran 3 or 4 times at 400 and 450 about 2 hours each. Then ran 3 hrs of self clean with EVERY window open and still had to go outside (and bring our dog with us) to wait for fumes to clear. Color is much more white than all of our bisque appliances - including our GE brand microwave (which is the color we expected and wanted). Flimsy burners won't settle in place. Design flaws that you don't see in photos - are more noticeable if you're short or have open kitchen and look straight on instead of looking down at it: 1 - See arch window on front of door? That's larger (higher) than the rectangle on inside of door window, so through the window you see a straight line of dull sheet metal straight across top of arch. 2 - Bottom of door has multiple vents - at first I thought ours was missing a strip intended to cover it. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Acceptable Stove The burners do not allow for the pans to sit level on the burner. We ordered the unit to replace an almond stove and this stoves bisque color is so light it looks white. Was surprised the oven light does not come on when the oven door is opened. January 1, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not Bad I've only had this range for about a month, but I am pleased with it so far. Most of my review is based on a comparison to my old Gibson electric range that was made in 1995. The oven in the GE is large and I can fit more things in there than I could with my previous oven. The window is also large, extending down to the bottom of the lowest rack. Things have baked evenly. I am also pleased with the performance of the cooktop. The storage drawer, however, is a bit small and I can't stack more than two skillets in there. The material the drawer is made out of also seems flimsy. The digital controls have so far been great. Overall, I like my new range and would recommend it to others. November 8, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value; description could be clearer about features This is a good, quality oven at a reasonable price. I do wish that I had realized before buying it that although it has timed bake and delay start, it only has a 12-hour clock, so it is impossible to time something to shut on or off more than 12 hours in the future. For example, I can't program the oven at 5 pm to turn on at 7 am the next morning. Not everyone needs this feature, but we used it frequently on our last oven. Otherwise, this is a good oven/stove with even heating and reasonably attractive. A good value. September 25, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Makes Stuff Hot A simple, reasonable stove with burners and an oven which work well enough. The black color is a disaster as it shows every little thing from a drop of water to a piece of dust. And it is simply impossible to wipe it down several times a day. Get this product in white or beige and you will be a lot happier. Also, they made the handy little "shelf" at the back into a curve so there's no place to put those several tiny items which otherwise get lost in a busy kitchen. October 22, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Free standing range I purchased this range to replace an older GE range and this one is far superior to the old one. Farily easy for the home owner to install. Instructions easy to follow. Cooks great and has many features of more expensive models. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] March 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great oven! This is a wonderful oven! It heats up super fast and bakes our cookies evenly. We are happy to have gone with the upgrade from 4 to 6 coils. Well worth the extra bit of dough! February 19, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Has all of the same features as the High $$$ ranges for 1/2 the price. Everything works well. Easy to clean inside and out !!! Looks great and works as well as the big boys. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] August 27, 2012
