I have a older Jenn Air slide in that I am replacing. It has ventilation out the back of the unit to the outside. The unit backs up to the side of the house. How does this unit ventilate? Can I just get a microwave with ventilation on the bottom? I don't see anything about ventilation in the instructions.
Thanks
Erin

Hi Erin,
I am happy to help. We recommend an over the range microwave/hood or vent hood or an over the range vent hood, with your slide in. I hope this helps. Thank you for checking with us.

We installed this range and converted to propane following instructions. We have large flames with yellow ends and soot in the oven and around flame spreader. The broiler is adjusted and works fine. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Check the installation instructions included with the LP Conversion Kit. We recommend that a qualified installer put in the gas range and convert it to the proper gas supply. Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 110 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stove Love about this stove: good price; the one "super boil" burner because it really takes the time out of stir-frying and boiling water; continuous grill (though it requires lifting out to clean and things fall down in there--can't be helped, can't have a continuous grill without that feature); appearance--it's super sharp and it gets lots of comments--quite manly with all its stainless steel and black; amazingly, the igniters are still igniting regularly after almost 1 1/2 years....the only time they don't is if the cover gets twisted and blocks them; and pretty easy cleaning-- with the exception of the front panel because it just gets greasy.. Here's the don't likes: the back two burners are pretty wimpy, it'd be nice if just one of them was that way so you could use it for super low simmer, but you don't need two super low simmers. I can live with it though. The big don't like is the plastic insert on the knobs where they attach to the burner controllers. One is already stripped out and I'm looking for replacements. We removed the knobs daily to clean the front panel for a while because it's very cumbersome to clean without doing so. But, everyone, inevitably, will forget to push down on the knob while turning it to light the burner and that will always be hard on that plastic piece. Why couldn't it be made of metal? Having the controls on the back of the stove would eliminate a lot of mess. I'd recommend this stove and I'd buy it again. June 12, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by It looks nice, but you can certainly do better I purchased the previous version of this range, and it looks great in my kitchen. However we had to replace the oven igniter after 2 years and it takes almost 25 minutes to heat up to 450. The cookyop looks nice, but you really cannot put two large pans on the front burners at the same time and the back burners are small and kind of useless. It bakes evenly, and the controls are in front so you are not reaching over a boiling pot of water to adjust the flame, but you are always watching to make sure the flame is correctly placed under the pot. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Problems I am very disappointed with the stove. Have had a repair man here twice since its purchase within the first year. The oven control unit does not keep the oven at the set tempurature. It varies 25 degrees from what is set. The flames on the burners do not go around evenly so therefore it heats and cooks unevenly which is noticable when you are browning foods. January 13, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love my new gas stove! I am so happy that GE has the same color in every appliance so that my kitchen matches. However, I wish I would have chosen the new stainless steel without the fingerprints! July 25, 2016
