They are supposedly designed for use in ceiling fans. I used 8 bulbs. All lasted less than 5 days. I recommend Sylvania's multiuse/fan bulbs. Much more durable.

I had a pair of these bulbs which only lasted 2 days. The product code doesn't even show up in GE current inventory. Apparently they are discontinued.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Burns out too quickly I replaced all three bulbs in my ceiling fan. The previous bulbs had been in the fan for over 1.5 years. These bulbs burned out in less than three weeks. I tried calling GE to complain, but they don't have this product in their database. I'll be buying replacements on Amazon.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Changing bulbs all the time We didn't realize when we bought our ceiling fan with 4 lights that the bulbs we'd have to replace would have a candelabra base. Not too much to choose from out there. We've been using these bulbs ever since we put up the fan three years ago, but it seems like we are having to drag out the ladder every month or so to replace one or two of the light bulbs. The light they emit is fine. I'm just tired of constantly changing bulbs. It advertises that it should last 1.4 years with three hours of use per day. No way. We only turn it on in the morning for about an hour and I'd say one bulb only lasts 3-6 months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Laminate Floor Install The installer arrived late but was very good and got the job done in one day. Subsequently we have found some damage in one of the boards. Can this be fixed. WE have extra material. Thank you
